Stayed Sep 12, 2025Kitchen is very outdated. You can hear everything upstairs. Thankfully we stayed during the off season so there wasn’t many guests upstairs but it’s loud when there is. This is also through a realty company, not sure if that matters, just don’t expect any “southern hospitality”. Check out was also not uneventful, check out is at 10:00am, housecleaning tried to get into our door without knocking prior at 9:30am. Other than that, the view is absolutely beautiful and it’s super close to the beach.

Stayed Jun 30, 2024Covered the basics but would suggest having the owner update at least the carpeting, fridge, and dishwasher. Nice to haves would be a nightstand on both sides of the bed rather than just one, as well as a medicine cabinet in the back half-bath like the one in the front half-bath. Guest wi-fi would only work for anywhere from 60 seconds to 60 minutes before having to log in again (tick the box for terms & conditions). Not the realtor's or owner's fault, issue is with Spectrum and how guest wi-fi was configured (also security cert was expired). Probably not limited to this one unit, but not something a guest tenant would have authorization to talk to Spectrum about. Likely needs someone from Surf Condos to work with Spectrum to fix. Wouldn't have mattered as much if cell service had been better, but AT&T and Verizon both had little to no signal in much of the unit. Maybe b/c it was 1st floor and built to withstand hurricanes? Stayed in a 3rd floor unit last year and cell signal was not an issue so not sure if the wi-fi was sketchy or not.
