We love coming for fall break when things aren’t quite as crowded. The weather was perfect even with the impending hurricane Helene coming. Unit 415 had everything we needed and the staff at The Islander is always great.

The location is close to nice attractions. The property is clean and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beach access is great for families. It made for a great family vacation.

Stayed Jul 28, 2024The unit is updated and well-appointed. It had everything we needed and boasts a great view of the sunset and harbor entrance. The walk to the beach is really short and easy. Alan the beach attendant is very friendly and helpful. Can't say anything bad about the unit, it is great. If you are reading reviews and hesitate because of posts related to dryer not working. It has been replaced and works very well.

Good value, great location, wonderful beach, etc.. A few problems this time - only one elevator was working and it broke down regularly; dryer in our unit still not working - should either be fixed or replaced or condo re-classified from platinum;
