It was ok.

Booked the room based on the splash pad, splash pad has been shut down for a long time and it is not being repaired. No view from our room just a broke splash pad and a block wall. Refrigerator didn't work they replaced it with a refrigerator with no shelving. Coffee maker had to be replaced took a day to do so. Management did adjust my rate, but still not happy with our stay.

This condo should not have been rented out due to the construction, taking place as they were working on our balcony and outside our window, so we were unable to open the curtains our entire stay. What I love most about the beach is the view and we had no view. We had small children and they were unable to even take naps during the day because of the noise of the construction. I love staying at this location, but it was very disappointing this time.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Our condo was conveniently located on the first floor in front of the splash pad. This was perfect as we had 5 children (2 under 1) and we didn’t have to worry about waiting on an elevator. We were also able to let the bigger kids play on the splash pad while we sat on the porch. Quick walk to the beach. The Track and Big Kahuna right down the road as well as numerous restaurants. There are a few thing that could be done for improvement though. Only half the outlets worked in our condo which was inconvenient. Beds were worn and need to be updated. We actually went out and bought a mattress topper. The refrigerator freezer was finicky. We were there for 4 nights and I put popsicles in there the first day and they still never froze. I also put 2 water bottles in at the same time and only 1 froze. It was odd. Tubberware would have been helpful. One of the drains in the bathroom did not drain well. My main complaint is the parking situation. Only 1 vehicle was allowed to park at the resort. Our 2nd vehicle (2 families) had to park across and down the street in a sketchy gravel parking lot with no security. The main parking lot had plenty of spaces but we were still told the 2nd vehicle still had to park down the road or would be towed. This was really a hassle with small children and the rain. Also, they were seriously understaffed at the restaurant & bar. I waited close to an hour for a drink because the bartender had to help in the kitchen too. He was wonderful and very apologetic but they should have been better staffed during the SUMMER in Destin on the beach. There was also an outdoor bar by the splash pad but it was closed the whole time we were there.

SunDestin Resort was perfect for my family of 8. Our room had plenty of sleeping spaces. Having a full kitchen saved us money on food. It is located near plenty of restaurants and the harbor for fun and entertainment. The unit was very well maintained. The beautiful beach was our backyard. I definitely recommend it.

Interior room was nice, exterior pool area very plain not inviting at all. But we spent more time on beach anyway

This was a great experience. It was our first stay here and we couldn’t have asked for more. Plenty of towels for the week. Easy pool and hot tub and splash pad access. Beautiful decor. The pillows were a little too soft, we had to use 3-4 to not be flat, and the washer and dryer was a little more expensive than we thought. We also thought the attraction tickets would be full tickets but they were just discounts. But we didn’t mind, it was overall a great experience. The entire resort took pride in good service and cleanliness. We will definitely be back!

I came here with some girl friends for a bachelorette trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The place was in the perfect location close to everything. It was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and the floor level was perfect for us. We were just a step out of the back door to the indoor /outdoor pool, jacuzzi, and beach access. Booking our room last minute after some issues with another condo elsewhere was a breeze, AND we got a better rate! Waffle House right across the street was the icing on the cake for late nights. Loved the restaurant and store that is on sight. Overall a great experience with friendly service!
