    Great location, awesome views, clean unit but the owner put their profit ahead of our comfort which was unfortunate and which tarnished our 5-night stay. Their listing doesn't mention that they have restricted their AC to 72F daytime/74F nighttime. We thought it was reasonable to expect that we'd be able to adjust the temperature to our own personal comfort so we were disappointed when our request that the restriction be lifted was denied and no remedy was offered. It's also worth nothing that this rental does not include a local professional management company. The owners do provide you contact with their state-mandated on-island-representative, Tiffany, but she is not an employee of Evolve and admits that she is not able to provide services you might expect from a proper management company.

    We stayed here on our trip to the Big Island in mid June (2025). This place was perfect! Fully stocked kitchen, beach gear, & a nice welcome gift. The condo was clean, great furnishings, and well kept. We spent most of our evenings at the resort club eating dinner & watching the sunsets. Will be staying here again on our next trip.

    Our family of 5 had a great time here. We really appreciated the personal touch, a note and some goodies upon arrival. We were also pleasantly surprised at the view of the water from the patio.The condo’s close location to the pool was easy for my elderly mom to walk each day. And made quick visits to let the kids get some swim time in doable.We also always have a hard time finding two bedroom condos with three beds. Having two beds in the spare room that were large enough for four people was great!Lastly, my husband loved the walking path along the golf course, ocean and lava rocks to the Hilton next door. He woke up every day to get his walk in.

    i wish i could give them 5 stars because the place was immaculate and perfect for our needs, but the air conditioning was broken when we got there. it took a full day to get it fixed and i had a person with a medical condition for which this was an issue. i had a little meltdown with the property manager, more out of worry for my friend. i have to give them credit for being patient and understanding with me! we had to assist the ac repairman the next day with access to the unit but after it was fixed there was no other snags. they had a stocked closet with beach toys and chairs that came in so handy. we were close to the beach house and ocean so sunsets were instaperfect. the queens shops and kings shops were a skip away... and the waimea general store was only 30 min away. great base for all the driving tours ands trips to the beach.. and only a half hour from the airport in kona.

    My husband and I stayed here 10 days. We loved the Hall'i Kai complex, its location, the pool area and the on-site restaurant. The fish tacos at this eatery were just the best and the staff was terrific. The area is beautiful. The condo itself was clean and comfortable and well stocked. The master bed was comfy, though we didn't like the pillows. Just our personal preference however. There was a nice outdoor grill on the deck. The owner had a welcome bag of goodies for us upon arrival which was a sweet touch. The owner was very accommodating about certain requests we made which we also appreciated. The only negative was that we didn't find the communication with the property manager to be the best. At first, we were given the name of a contact rep that wasn't accurate. Then we didn't always get a timely response. But overall it was a positive experience and we would stay here again.

    We have stayed at another condo within Halii Kai property in the past, and found that we liked this listing more. The view from the lanai was awesome-we could see the ocean, the golf course, and people walking to and from the ocean club. This listing was well stocked, clean and nicely decorated. Loved the welcome note and gift, and was impressed with the closet full beach accessories that came in handy. We had a few meals at the ocean club that were quite tasty and loved watching the sunsets by the pool. All staff that we encountered were very nice, and the landscaping of the grounds are immaculate. Although the condo is well maintained, and we had no issues while staying there, the communication with property management was lacking. Overall, would highly recommend and would stay again.

    The condo was amazing. The neighborhood was beautiful. The club has the best food I ate in Hawaii. My daughters both said it was the best vaka ever.

    This condo is in great condition, well-stocked, very clean, and in an outstanding location. It’s only a 3-minute walk to the pool and the most amazing sunsets. Can’t say enough good things about this place.
