Sun, Sand and Sensational!

Kudos to our fabulous host for providing the BEST arrival experience to date 10/10. We arrived after a long, cold drive to find a beautifully appointed condo, warm, inviting, well-lit and with relaxing music playing. They should update their photos because it’s truly much better than the photos indicate. The living room furniture has been replaced and include a reclining sofa and lovely new coffee table. The spaces are inviting, well decorated but don’t contain so much decor as to appear cluttered. The kitchen and bath were impeccably clean and well stocked for our month long stay. There is ample space in the cabinets to store groceries without cluttering the counters. The well-equipped kitchen was perfect for cooking our meals. The stacked washer/dryer made it easy to get the laundry done without leaving the unit. We found the bed very comfortable and well appointed.Our thoughtful hosts provided great restaurant and entertainment suggestions that are most helpful to someone visiting the area for the first time. The views from the living and main bedroom were so tranquil and beautiful. Eagle watching was a favorite pastime for us during March. We spotted as many as five gathered in the beach for a fish dinner. Don’t sleep on this one! It’s a gem.

We enjoyed our weekend very much! The condo was very clean and had everything we needed! It had a great view overlooking the pool and lake! We would definitely stay here again! Communication with Bev was great!!

Absolutely amazing time! Bev was amazing and so helpful especially with restaurant recommendations etc! Shes also Very responsive!! We got to meet Bev and her husband and they're just such wonderful people. The furniture and bed was very comfy and the view was gorgeous! My husband and I did so many things and ate lots of fish. The heated pool and hot tub were awesome especially on the unseasonably cool days. We would definitely stay here again!

Well-maintained condo with a ready to use kitchen. Easy, quick and friendly communication with the host with clear directions for check-in. Our family had a wonderful stay!

Check in was super easy. The condo was nice and clean. Towels and linens provided. The area is super cute. Has fire pits, warm pool, hot tub and beach/ lake access. Beach area is small though. Only complaint is pump to pool wasn't working/ turned off so had a lot of debris in the pool.

We stayed at this beautiful condo while in town for a wedding. The location was perfect and the views from the condo were amazing. Lots of space for our family and we enjoyed the easy access to the pool area.

This is our second time staying with this host. This place is located on the lake. This is a gated community with a private pool and hot tub. There is also an amazing fire pit as well. Our favorite part about this place, Jolly Rodgers is located right next door! I can’t recommend this host enough. They are very attentive and go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of.

I have stayed The Shores several times, the complex and grounds are always well kept. This unit has everything you need. No need to run to the store for essentials as soon as you arrive, Bev has enough stocked to get you through the first day. It has been remodeled recently and is always clean, clean, clean. The bed is very comfortable and the furniture is in excellent condition. If any problems arise, Bev is very attentive and easy to contact. The location is a short drive to Port Clinton restaurants, shops and Kroger. There is no elevator at the complex, so expect to carry your luggage up a few flights of stairs.

Quick 2 night trip during the off season with our 4 kids to show them Lake Erie for the first time. The building is older but the condo does not reflect that. The furniture is all new and everything is very nicely decorated and clean. The view is beautiful and the deck of the pool overlooking the water was perfect. Additional towels/ pool towels would have been nice as we almost always have those provided in rentals but we made a quick run to Walmart for some. Jolly Rogers next door was great and the kids loved exploring. It was a great mini stop along our road trip to Canada!

Had a wonderful stay.. loved the heated pool, hot tub and access to the beach. Will definitely come back. Host was very helpful with area tips, and responding to emails.

Bev’s property is in a great location and provides all the amenities you could need or want.

When you need a break, this is the place there is many restaurants close by the condo was clean and stocked when we got there the owners immediately responded to any concerns, you can't ask for much more of a view when you look outside troubles melt away, highly suggest this unit.

Bev was awesome and informative. The view and the pool was outstanding. We enjoyed the condo and the kitchen was well equipped. There are a lot of steps to get to the condo (30) to be exact. No elevator.This should be in the description of the condo. Lastly, some of the residents aren’t very inviting or friendly. One of the residents accused us of parking in someone else’s spot (under the condo). Which we weren’t.
