Good location , good ski weekend. Condo needs some work, no hooks for skis or boards in hall, no hangers or hooks in closets for coats. Family of 6 skiing has a lot of gear with no place to put it. Only one baseboard heater working, but did keep condo very warm, but hard to dry all ski clothing and boots. Needed multiple light bulb replacements but none in condo. Master tube dirty on arrival. Storm door would not latch on arrival so my husband had to wedge it open so it wouldn’t slam against the wall all night. We were there to ski so not a huge deal, just surprising for how much we paid a night. We’ve been staying in summit for 10 years and never paid this for a sub par condo.
Back door doesn’t stay shut. It’s needs fixing at the latch. Front door screen does not latch and bangs at night. Once those are fixed I’d give all five stars.
A bit dated, needed some maintenance such as a rocking stove, storm door with no closer, and hot water that was way too hot. Very clean. The pots and pans are brand new and very nice. The hike up the steps can be daunting to get to skiing and restaurants, until we found out on the web about the on demand shuttle.
Nice unit, clean accurately described. Would stay again
The property was nice and clean. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. The water pressure on the showers was out of control and extremely hard, we had to take baths. The bed in the master was hard but the others seemed ok.
I sent this to property manager to snowshoereservations There are several issues with our reservations: Exposed wiring under the dishwasher Broken components on the oven/range Broken Handle on the Refrigerator Broken light switch to kitchen light Microwave start button works sometimes Uneven countertops Crooked lamp in the den Master bath sink leaks when you turn the hot water on Master bath shower hot water leaks (this causes a rather uncomfortable shower, possible burn hazard?) Had to turn off the hot water with a rag No chairs on the balcony CLEANING: (I thought I paid for this?) dirty dish rags dried egg on spatula hair in: coffee pot, silverware drawer, etc.. prettymucheverywherethroughout dirty dishes in dishwasher lint dryer not clean random sock in bedroom dirty pillow cases on extra pillows the tray in bathroom had dirty rag and unclean surface The closets just have random stuff thrown in there? Not even going to mention the parking situation. (the guy here at Summit was a great help, thankful for that) I can really go on and on regarding all the deferred maintenance and uncleanliness. I have been traveling for 20+ years with my family. We usually are fortunate enough to stay in a couple places each year. We have definitely stayed in subpar places on a few occasions but have never been one to complain or leave negative reviews. This is an exception! . Regards, Jason Strickland
A bit rustic but overall a very nice property that was a short walk to the village. The mountain view from the back deck was incredible and daily visits from 5 - 6 deer was a nice bonus.
This property is at an relatively convenient location right on the mountain. cozy and quaint - we very much enjoyed our stay. There are some things lacking - wallpaper peeling off the wall, part of the dishwasher falling off, and the water pressure in the master was intolerably hard, but overall comfortable and enjoyable none the less !
