Our family enjoyed the condo and the resort. The boys had a blast skiing.
We had a great time at this condo. It was convenient to the slopes and to the shuttle bus. Kitchen was well stocked and everything was as advertised. We had a small issue that was addressed right away by the property manager. Plenty of parking out front, and they cleared snow well and put out snow melt when snow stopped. Beds were comfortable, and the location was quiet.
It was as advertised. Walk to lift. Comfortable place to stay. Got a lot of use out of the dryer as we got rained on while out on the mountain.
Absolutely loved everything about our stay. Cozy and clean. Every essential you need and more. Would recommend to anyone planning to stay in Snowshoe. Thanks again for the hospitality! We'll be back.
This is as advertised. Its about a 100 yard walk to the slopes through the parking lot. From the top of the chair lift, if you walk up ten feet, you can ski down a slope and traverse all the way to the stairs of the apartment. Its on the green / terrain park side of Snowshoe. Night skiing a few minute drive or shuttle. The place is cozy, good for family of 4 or 5 if you want to put 3 kids in one room. Wifi worked well. Cell service is bad on Snowshoe. Bring food with you, grocery and restaurants are uneven and busy. Parking is easy at the condo, it is not easy in the village. Cupp run is the best skiing for blacks. Fewer crashes and its 1.5 miles long and quite a nice surprise for mid-atlantic skiing. You do have to cross a road to get to it but that keeps the beginners away. Only negatives on the condo were hot water ran out with our shower loving teens. And there was a party in the condo below and its hard to escape the noise. I'd recommend overall.
The listing is exactly as stated. Very close to slopes very relaxing kitchen well stocked.
We had a great 4-day family trip at this property. I was worried that the access wouldn't be convenient. I couldn't be more wrong. You can see the access slope from the living room. Lots of sleeping space. Easy to communicate with the property managers. No complaints!
Perfect spot for our weekend get away. The unit was well stocked with coffee, hot chocolate, salt/pepper/spices and even a crock pot which was awesome for some chicken noodle soup one evening. Trash and firewood a few steps from the unit. As advertised and perfect!
Super comfortable and convenient to the slopes! Will definitely make use of again!
The property is as advertised. We were very pleased with it, and did not encounter any issues during our stay. Our family of 5 skied in early March. Being located by the Powderidge lift was perfect for us. When we attempted to explore other parts of the resort we found the lift lines to be pretty long. However, we hardly had to wait to get on the Powderidge lift. And the slopes available to us from that lift were perfect. Numerous and diverse enough that we never got tired of being on that side of the mountain. It was an easy walk in the morning from the condo to the run just behind the condo. When returning to the condo the Powderidge lift drops you off about 100 yards from the condo. There is a slight rise in the run from the lift so you will have to walk about 10 yards initially. But after that you can ski/board about 50 or so yards and then walk the 40 yards or so from the run to the condo. We spent very little time in the condo, but it was clearn and warm.
