Summer & July 4th Savings at Beachside Colony Tybee's ONLY Oceanfront Resort 2/2

The Condo was very comfortable! We enjoyed the location in Mid Beach, very calm!It was so nice to be able to park in a covered garage. There were also convenient elevators to our Condo.We didn’t do any cooking, but a Keurig Coffee Maker would have been nice.

The condo is on the 3rd floor but close to the stairs and elevator. The condo was clean. Kitchen is decently stocked. And there is plenty of comfortable seating. The room sleeps 6 but there is only 3 chairs at the table and 2 stools at the bar. My only complaint about the room is the freezer. I had read other reviews that noted the freezer didn't freeze and the ice maker didn't work. I contacted the owner asking about the freezer and if I needed to purchase ice for our stay. I got a fast response saying the freezer worked and there was no need to purchase ice. When we arrived and unloaded the cooler, I placed items in the freezer and it was not very cold. My items were completely melted the next morning and we had to go get ice just to keep things cold. I mentioned it to the nice lady at the front office and she compted us the cost of the ice and said she would let maintenance know. I spoke to her again when we checked out and she said the refrigerator, microwave and oven were scheduled to be replaced in a couple days. Needless to say that didn't help us. Our room looked over the pool and restaurant towards the beach. Saturday night was noisy with the pool and restaurant, the other nights were better. Sunrise view over the beach was amazing. Pool is 2 flights down. There is easy beach access from the pool area. The walk to the beach was easy. We have toddlers, 2 and 4, they handled the walk easy. We loved our stay. We will be back. We recommend the restaurant!! Delicious!

Absolutely wonderful stay! The Beachside Colony Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, everything was clean, well‑maintained, and thoughtfully set up for a relaxing vacation. The beach access was unbeatable—steps away and perfect for sunrise walks and sunset views. Our unit was comfortable, quiet, and well equipped, making it easy to feel right at home.We loved the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and how easy everything was, from parking to check‑in to enjoying the amenities. It was the ideal place to truly unwind and enjoy the coast. We couldn’t have asked for a better beach getaway and would happily return. Highly recommend!

Had a gorgeous view, from very private balcony, of ocean, pools, and The Deck restaurant. Being an older facility, had some expected wear and tear. Bathrooms and hallway need door racks/hooks to hang clothing, coats, jackets, beach towels, etc. Ice maker not functioning or connected; needs a wine bottle opener. Difficult to adequately flush toilet in master bath.

I loved my stay at Beachside Colony. The onsite beach restaurant had great food. The location is great and everything is walkable. I would definitely stay again!

Loved the location! The shower diverter in bathroom #2 needs to be replaced and the freezer wouldn’t freeze, so no ice. Kitchen needs a place for food items, maybe a shelving unit of some sort, but overall the condo was a great place to stay. :-)
