Condo was decent for a few people. Even at that, the hot water heater was marginal for a single shower. The building itself is showing signs of age, minimal maintenance. The parking structure was condemned, fenced off, with a violation notice posted on the door. No reasonable overnight parking options. I parked about ten minutes away, but had to take the car out before midnight and park it back after midnight to park it with a $40 day pass. You had to climb over a snow bank to an unshoveled path to get to the maintained path. There are obviously some boundary and development disputes going on. Dealing with these shouldn't have to be part of your vacation. If you want to find this place on Bing Maps, search Steamboat Dream Vacation - Ski Time Square, and note that the access is hiking to Ski Time Square Drive.
Every single detail. Amazing spot , amazing host , great vibe In the house with exceptional views. Super comfortable great decoration and a great selection of board games.
The good things about this condo are that it’s walking distance to the slopes and the beds are comfy. The listing says that “Parking notes: 1 spot guaranteed 7'8 clearance” which suggests that maybe you can park another car there if it’s not busy. That is not the case. There is only one parking pass given for the garage and the other alternative parking is paying $50 at the lot by the Sheraton. Please edit the listing description so others understand the parking situation. The garage is not that close to the condo if you have a lot of gear to haul up. The check in instructions didn’t specify the code for the front door, only the lock box for the locker key/parking pass (ended up being the same code as the lock box). The instructions also didn’t specify that the locker was on the east side of the building (after searching for the locker on the west side of the building). The rental looks great in pictures but is less updated and smaller than we expected. Some of the dishes were dirty and stuff was shoved in and falling out of all of the closets when opened. Also, there were no mittens for the oven or any type of oil to cook with besides spray canola oil. Vacasa customer service does not know details of the specific condo (had to wait overnight to hear if we could get another parking pass—answer was no). For the high price we paid, I would not stay here again.
Can’t beat the location. Was a short walk with my young kids to get on and off the slopes. The condo has been nicely renovated and maintains lots of old mountain cabin character. We enjoyed the hots and the view. The underground parking was nice. It’s a short walk from the garage to the building.
The updates to the unit are nice and they did a good job making an older unit feel fresher. The building is quite outdated and the parking situation is terrible. If you have more than one vehicle, I would not recommend renting this unit as overnight parking on the mountain is nonexistent. The check-in process is a bit of a hassle and don't plan on skiing your last day because you have to turn in keys/parking passes by 10am.
