Aloha and welcome to Kahana Reef #409. With an elevator and stairway right next to the private hallway that leads to our condo it makes it extremely accessible for all. Larger then most condos at the Reef it has 661 square feet. Bedroom is spacious with a Ca king size bed and flat screen television. Stayed Sep 26, 2025Oceanfront, just as advertised, great Host, perfect location, etc. I’ve stayed at Kahana Reef condos 12 times over the years. This end unit is as good as any I’ve stayed in. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to rent it again.

Stayed Mar 23, 2023We love staying at the Kahana Reef complex whenever we visit Maui. Slightly removed from the resort areas and busyness of Lahaina, but right on the oceanfront, it’s truly a quaint and quiet area great for true R&R! Cheryl’s unit had many notable amenities: - The window AC unit was a game changer as it was so refreshing to come home after a day in the sun and turn on the AC to cool down. - The chairs, cooler, and towels provided by Cheryl made beach trips to D.T. Fleming and Honolulu Bay extremely easy. - The binoculars were a special treat as we were able to watch humpback whales right from the lanai. We even saw one fully breach! We enjoyed grabbing a 6-pack from Maui Brewing just down the street and watched for whales - a great low-cost evening activity. Would highly recommend the property and would gladly rent again from Cheryl! Note: there was only 1 roll of toilet paper at the condo for our ~weeklong stay. We ended up buying more at the gas station, but would have liked some extras! Not a big deal, just an item of note :)

Stayed Jan 20, 2023Quiet, comfortable and beautiful view. You can hear the waves all night and see whales from your balcony. Way better than staying in a hotel!
