Stunning Gulf Views, Huge 3 Bed 3 Bath Silver Shells Resort Condo

The beach view and pool were beautiful. The beach chair rental was ridiculously expensive prohibiting us to enjoy the beach every day which was why we took this vacation. Plus there were no beach chairs in the condo for us to use. The kitchen utensils, big bowls, storage containers were very limited or nonexistent. The grills outside did not work. The unit is in need of some updates (the carpet is gross, the sink and curtains in the master bath are broken, the cookware is limited, the lighting is awful). We will stay at Silver Shells again just not this unit. Definitely not worth the price we paid.

Clean large rooms. Great location. Prior to arrival emailed asking if beach towels provided. Never received a response. they are not. Sandbar is a great addition for cocktails. Beach and pool are beautiful. Many things within walking distance. Extra toilet paper, paper towels and basic seasoning would be nice to include. never stayed at a VRBO that wouldn’t allow leaving unopened water bottles etc. Housekeeping wanted it dumped.

I’ve been at silver shells every year or every other year for 24 years and I was disappointed in this unit we stayed in. Carpet dirty rug in living room dirty 2 TV never got them to work.

Amenities were perfect. Loved the beach side service from the Sand Bar!

The condo was very pretty and having 3 full baths helped a lot. However, I have been coming to Destin for 20 plus years and I have never not had beach chairs (2) included. No beach chairs was not great. There was a broken lamp and a toilet paper holderThat kept falling off the wall. I sent an emailAbout those the morning after we arrived but there was no response.I did telephone because of a roach infestation. Someone came by with traps saying they wouldBe gone in a day. NOT. They have a growing problem. So weDid not feel comfortable with leavingFood on the cabinet. Our party had 4 adults in it and just having 2 door cards was very inconvenient. But we planned to have a good time no matter and we did!

The resort and room exceeded our expectations. The views were amazing. I would highly recommend this resort and room.

My family and I stayed here for a girls trip in June. We received a text stating the unit was ready around the check-in time. Checking in was simple and Beachview Rental Company gave good instructions. The unit was very clean upon arrival. The condo had been updated to some degree and was enjoyable. We only had a few complaints about this unit. One, the kitchen had only the very basic utensils to use, lacking covered bowls for food and very few dish towels or pot holders for getting hot items out of oven. Two, there were no loungers on the balcony for relaxing. The chairs and table were like new and adequate for sitting and eating but there was nothing comfortable to lounge on and relax…and no cushions only hard chairs. Those were the two major things to us! A couple of minor issues were one of the guest bedrooms tv was not working. There was a number I called but nothing was resolved. Also, there were not a lot of carts to snag for luggage. We checked in on a Wednesday and got a cart right away, but that was a different story checking out on the weekend. We ended up carrying all of our luggage down without a cart and made a few trips! The up side was the elevators were working and quick! Overall good condo and we enjoyed staying in this unit, but felt it was lacking in these areas!

We had 6 adults and needed more gate pass cards - we only had 2. It was rather challenging at times planning our activities with only 2.

Beautiful condo. Beautiful view. Amazing beach and pool! My family was very happy with our stay. The only complaint was that we needed a code for the lobby and parking garage from the pool

Amazing place to stay. Very clean and perfect location. Grounds are very well maintained, elevators are fast, and pool area is large and beautiful! The spa and workout area are a fantastic bonus! Thank you for making this trip so wonderful!

Excellent view and condo was nice. Great beach area and large pool. Need to advise people they need to bring salt/pepper, extra paper towels and toilet paper, bath soap and dish detergent if staying 5 days.

Beautiful view. Patio furniture was broken but everything else was great!
