Stayed Nov 26, 2025A really good location near to Nelson but not in the city with a fantastic view of the bay. The studio has just about everything you need and is well appointed and comfortable. Carolyn checked occasionally but wasn’t obtrusive. We were extremely appreciative when she informed us of an overnight road closure and at the last minute she was much more flexible than she needed to be to slightly shift our dates. Thanks Carolyn!

Stayed Mar 5, 2025We stayed for 6 days to explore the Nelson area. Carolyn was a wonderful host, making sure we had everything we needed and giving us recommendations for places to see.Great location, with access to Abel Tasman Park and Havelock. Highly recommend.

Stayed Feb 9, 2025This was a beautiful base for our exploration of Nelson. Carolyn our host was wonderful, and helpful, and did all that she could to make us comfortable. The bed was excellent, and we have wifi, TV and guest parking for our rental car. Unfortunately we found some of the hottest days that Nelson experiences in the year, and the room needed a bit more airflow to clear out the warm air. However, the place has a fan, and I’m sure this is no problem for all the “normal” weather days for the rest of the year!!

Stayed Feb 12, 2025Such a relaxing place to stay and the scenery is stunning. Comfy bed too and a spacious bathroom and walk in closet.Kitchen facilities really needs a sink in the food prep area. Microwave and bbq available but no oven or hot plates. Ideal if you’re only using this place for breakfast and sleep which describes my stay really.

Stayed Oct 25, 2024Place was extremely well fitted out with quality furnishings. Spacious, very comfortable and outstanding views out to the ocean. Everything supplied that you could possibly need for a few days stay. Easy drive into Nelson CBD. Host was friendly, welcoming and great to deal with. Highly recommend
