With this condo, everything was so very easy for our last minute trip up mount hood for snow and night swimming.
The host was great about communicating. I have no issues with her. The condo wasn’t super clean and it looked like it was recently remodeled by a person with severe ADD. Unfinished flooring in the bathroom, scuffs and markings on the kitchen counters, a strange, hard platform in the corner of the living room, lots of incomplete projects. The bathtub was gross. Pink mildew where the tub surround came together and lots of soap scum on the shampoo and conditioner dispenser and on the walls. It also smelled wet socks and old food inside. The worst part was how hot it was in the condo when we arrived. We didn’t even get inside until after 10 pm and the outside temp was in the 60’s. Inside was well above 90. And it took until past 2 am for it to cool down enough that anyone could think of sleeping. We did message with the host about it and she offered to bring a fan over, but it was around 11, I didn’t want to inconvenience her and we were exhausted. Just wanted to unwind in and go to bed. We had to fight with the portable AC unit to get it to vent the hot air outside, that was miserable, being way over heated, exhausted and having hot air blown all over you as you try and figure out how to get it to stay in the window. The next day there was a fan waiting for us outside our door and that made a huge difference. The condo was extremely hot during the day. The pool area was totally run down and so filthy.
