Steps to Sand! Gulf Views, Private Balcony, Beach Gear - FREE Activities & Parking - 2 Piper's Nest

Our 2nd year at Pipers Nest! Location was great steps from the beach, host was pretty quiet which is completely fine we didn’t have any questions, condo was clean, needs little updating broken chair in the corner, pots and pans are well loved, ceilings have little water damage, main bathroom had Kleenex stuffed on top of the window, dryer takes awhile to dry, master bed was not the comfiest but it worked for our week stay, the beach chairs and kids toys were nice touch. overall it it was a great place to get away from the North Dakota cold and the little updates that are needed would not stop us from renting this place again! The Host was very nice and kept the area outside looking great! We had a relaxing and quiet vacation that was much needed! It is close to fantastic restaurants and of course they have an ice cream shop that doesn't disappoint. There were several issues that we brought to their attention. 1. Electric recliner was unplugged and pushed against wall. We sat in it and the whole rLeft side arm fell. There was a hole behind it that had a bad patch job. 2. The whole left end side of the couch was also broken and leaned way back.3. One of the tall Adirondack chairs right arm was broken. The maintenance gentleman came and screwed it together so it could be used. 4. The master bathroom fan makes a horrible noise when turned on.All in all we like the area, the beach and places to eat but for the price we paid I would have liked to have use of furniture. Damage was significant enough that I had to take pictures of everything and call so we wouldn't be charged for damages.They offered us a free activity off their list but we already had our time planned. Due to that they said they'd give us a refund of 100.15.We have been here several times and hopefully if we go back again it will be better.Cyndi

Loved the location. We love how close it is to everything. Loved the view. Easy parking. Easy walk to the beach. For the cost,(which was 1000 more for the week than other units in the building) I was really disappointed in the shape of the unit. I definitely understand that everyone in the area is still recovering which is why we chose to come here. The unit just really needs some TLC. Super minimal and inexpensive updates could make a huge improvement. Master bathroom door doesn’t close, the shower curtain hooks are rusted and crumbling, drawers are broken, the hall toilet doesn’t not flush unless you take the top off and manually pull the chain, a couple light bulbs are out, a couple of the chairs on the patio are broken and did result in a cut on one of my kids. Blinds or shades in the living room would help so much to block out the evening sun because the temperature gets to 76 every evening in there. All that being said, the issues wouldn’t prevent me from returning. We love Indian Shores and everything it has to offer.

This is the 4th year we have stayed at 2 Piper’s Nest. We absolutely love the location and condo. I would recommend it to everyone! The view from the deck is amazing. The sunsets and dolphins never get old. It’s a piece of heaven. The only thing I would suggest is to upgrade area rugs throughout the unit. They are getting old and dingy. The other thing is the mattress's in both rooms. Very hard and uncomfortable. The lock in the master closet is kind of sketchy. That needs to be reinforced. Other than that, this place always feels like home when we visit!!

This place was amazing! Ever morning a great view with coffee and then sunset view at night. Great location and using the trolley made life so easy. Loved this unit and so glad to see things making a comeback after the hurricane. Great memories made and cannot wait for next year! Thank you for a much needed break!

We loved our stay. It’s so close to the beach with beautiful views. The condo is clean and comfortable. The perfect place to relax and renew. Chad was very prompt and helpful when our air conditioning went out. It was fixed in less than an hour. We were grateful.
