SS B11 Seele Street River Retreat

Initially, we weren’t sure how it was going to go. Upon arrival at our original reservation, the air conditioner was not functioning. However, the rental agent promptly placed us in a different unit. It was nice, but it was not very clean. After being told we would be charged extra if there was excessive pet hair, we found a lot of pet hair all over the unit prior to our pets even entering.The original reservation also was not in a very nice neighborhood, there were spiderwebs all over the staircase, railings, and the entire property didn’t look very well maintained.Some of the improvements I would recommend to the owners is to have more utensils for cooking, better pans for cooking as the ones that are there are old Teflon that is coming off and it was very difficult to clean them properly. There really aren’t many cooking utensils there at all. The coffee pot was not functioning so I had to buy my own. All in all, I guess I can rate the entire stay a 3 but was hoping for more of a five!I did appreciate the quick response to the original Rental when the air conditioning was not functioning.

Condo is on the older side but was very clean. Appliances were new and very much appreciated. The bedding was very comfortable.Our main complaint was on the exterior. Stairs and balcony were thick with spider webs and even a large wasp nest.The grounds needed to be mowed and there was a dead coral snake. We decided not to utilize the pool area.

Property clean, safe, and location although access to river in construction, it was nice as anything needed is a couple miles away. Property management responsive to questions and issues.Over all property a bit dated but workable compared to other property rental prices.Good to ask questions upfront of any bookings as some properties require upfront agreements that one may question. Would definitely recommend a mattress upgrade.Overall good value.

Everything was great except the beds. I think the need new mattresses including the sofa bed

This property has beautiful pictures but when you arrive you realize it is an old property with some upgrades but in desperate need of maintenance and updating. The neighborhood surround the complex was concerning to drive through. Bathrooms need updating and thorough cleaning. Pictures are very deceiving.

Has easy river access, pool was crystal clear, and lots to do! Plenty of linens, blankets and pillows. My only complaint would be the beds. Both queen beds dip in the middle and the sofa bed is very springy, unfortunately none of us slept through the night.

The property had a foul smell when we walked in there was sexually explicit confetti left all around the house all the doors we warped and dont shut well we had to buy air freshners there was one grill that we found on the property by the pool the add said there were grills on the property the river access a joke and the surrounding neighborhood is terrible.
