Spectacular Beachfront Townhouse Condo PELICANS POINTE

Amazing Stay .....June 24 - July 1st!! First let me say...property was exactly as pictured, described and very clean. Location was AMAZING and you literally walked right onto an uncrowded part of the beach. (We literally did not pack a cooler, just went back to the condo for anything we needed.) 2nd floor balcony off of the bedroom was a favorite of mine and incredibly peaceful and a wonderful place to watch the beautiful sunsets. The owner was very responsive to any email I sent with questions regarding availability of towels, chairs, etc. (Typically within the hour.) The property was very well furnished with extra sheets, towels and an area with beach chairs and umbrellas. Kitchen had everything that we needed. I will say, the only negative is if you have mobility issues and difficulty with stairs this is probably not the condo for you. We were fine with the stairs, but there are 2 flights up to the condo and 2 to the primary bedroom. We will definitely stay at this property again!

Pelican pointe did not disappoint, the townhouse was clean and well equipped, balcony on main floor and off master were awesome. The beach in Indian shores is fairly quiet and beautiful, spent 10 days and was definitely not enough. Great stay

Tom was a great host! Very good at communicating and responding quickly. The place was absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location right on the beach. You can’t get better. It was clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable as well. I didn’t want to leave. The sunsets were amazing. The water was clear blue. We saw starfish, dolphins and manatee. I highly recommend this place.

Enjoyed a very relaxing week on this beachfront condo. Parking was easy and condo had all the amenities needed . Beautiful views and you can’t beat the two decks to sit and relax. There are a lot of stairs inside and out, but they are well worth the views from the condo. Really liked walking right out on the beach. Centrally located and able to walk to restaurants and coffee shops. Tom the owner was great to work with. He sent pre trip emails that made check in a breeze and responded quickly when we sent an email during our stay. One of the few condos we have stayed in where we didn’t have heat or air conditioning issues. Bedrooms were nice size and living room had plenty of seating. The main deck has great furniture to sit and relax and the condo storage shed had beach chairs and a beach mat that made it easy to enjoy the beautiful sandy beach. Parking spot fit our large suv but was tight, definitely helped to have sensors on vehicle to help guide us. All in all great trip and look forward to returning next year

The best thing about this home is the proximity to the water and the views off the back deck. Unfortunately, for us, that is where the great things end. The place needs a thorough deep clean. The baseboards, the bathrooms, the edges of the floors where it meets the wall, all need to be scrubbed. There are A LOT of stairs, so many in fact, that our phones alerted us that we were climbing a lot more stairs than normal. If you are coming in from the beach and need to go to a bedroom, you are climbing 3 flights of stairs. Just helpful information for those with little ones or elderly people. I broke my knee years ago and the amount of stairs we had to climb aggravated it. We didn’t cook at all, so I can’t speak to how stocked the kitchen is. The couches are uncomfortable, hardly any padding in them, the pillows got feathers all over the couches and our clothes. The end tables next to the couches were tv trays. I wish I could say better things about the place but the cleanliness was an issue. Being it was Spring Break and there was no other availability for a beach front place, we stayed. Had there been another availability, we would have asked the owner if we could cancel our trip. For the amount of money we paid, they could easily pay for a great cleaner.

The refrigerator was dirty and old food from previous renters was left inside. Overall cleaning couldn’t been better. There was, from what I’m assuming coffee, spilled all down the stairs and the place was noticeably dusty. The couch was probably the worst couch I’ve ever sat on. Felt like wood with a piece of fabric overtop.

Can’t beat the view and the location. We would stay again.

The view is awesome.

Property was clean & roomy however the AC vents were dusty & non working windows gave it a 3 star The mattresses were a lil worn but sleepable,Views of the beach & sunsets were great.Tom our host was very accommodating .

Great property on a great location.

Good but beach chairs were broken and umbrella was too. Had buy chairs and umbrella.

Had a couple issues because of my email to start but the owner immediately contacted me about them and resolved it right away even though the issue was on my end. It is a beautiful place and very spacious. Beds are extremely comfortable! The view from the lower and upper balcony are amazing! A few steps when you come out slide and you’re in the sand! The only issue is the small flight of stairs you have to use to enter but there are very well kept and maintained! Fishing was great as well right on the surf. We will be staying here again in the future!

Right on the beach! Views were AWESOME!! Close to alot of restaurants. Had everything that we needed.

Spent 8 days at this beach house , quiet area on beach and 2 balconies to enjoy the sunsets - perfect. House was clean , bed comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Will be coming back next year.

The steps will give you a workout but well worth it.Great views Love the steps to the beach I would definitely return to this condo

Property is just like advertised. Beach location is great with not many people. Short drive to most attractions.

Location/proximity to the beach was excellent! (Looks like the recent hurricane made the number of steps to the sand even less!?!) Tom was excellent in communicating and responding to questions! This condo was perfect for our family if 3!

Condo was as advertised...2 balconies beachfront, everything you'd need and plenty of extras. Clearly the whole area is recovering from the storms, but the condo was not damaged. Needs a little freshening up, but nothing of any concern. Would return,!

Condo is in the perfect location, views are awesome. Check in process was very easy and Tom was great to work with. Hope to be back.

This unit should not be allowed for rent. There is clear evidence of water damage. Mold is growing in every room. The closet doors have mold, around the air vents and behind the wallpaper. I addressed my concerns with the host and his resolution was to send housekeeping to wipe the mold off the areas I photographed and sent to VRBO complaining about the heath hazards of this unit. I advised the host that I would be leaving the rental and requesting a refund. This whole experience was a nightmare. No one should spend almost $300 a night to stay in a mold infested house. I’m currently working with VRBO to get compensation for this unfortunate ordeal.

This was a beautiful location!! There are a lot of steps that did not bother me, but my family complained quite a bit. Tom's mirrors are deceiving. You are not a beautiful golden brown, you are burnt :) LOL He has everything you need to enjoy a day on the beach. The balconies are beyond perfect. Beds are comfortable! Fridge is cold. There are condiments, salt, pepper, etc already in the fridge. If you are looking to stay busy and party this is not the spot for you. It is quiet and peaceful, but a 20 minute drive to Clearwater where you can party all night. I can't wait to have the opportunity to go back. Tom was right on top of the little bit of communication I did with him. Very fast response time. My family had an amazing time!!

A few steps to the beach. Great shelling- we got some great shells. The owner was very attentive and answered quickly. The view from both balconies were great and the sunsets were phenomenal.

Checkin was super easy. Felt safe even during hurricane Debbie. View and location were great. all necessary equipment for the beach were provided. definitely would rent again.

Mold! Uninhabitable & unsafe to stay. Hit by the strong smell of mold like opening a bag of green, molded bread but 100 times worse! So much mold on everything, kitchen walls, bedroom walls, bathroom walls, fridge, air vents, baseboards, ceiling , pillows and bed spreads! I’ll give the host he was prompt to answer his phone, but from there the helpfulness ended. At first we called to let him know the ceiling had leaked and the ceiling was falling and cracking in the living room and the house smelled of mold/musty. While I was in the phone my husband started spotting the mold all over the walls in kitchen. The owner said he would send ckeaner out to clean it. was just a little surface Mold because the cleaner had left the air conditioner too hot after a storms. We were trying to be reasonable and took his word that it was just a little bit of surface mold in the kitchen but it smelled awful And we were getting headaches so we planned on leaving until something could be done with it. While we were gathering our kids up to load back up in the car we started noticing more and more mold. Everywhere you looked. A cleaner came and was there under an hour. There was still an awful smell and visible mold everywhere when we returned 1 hr later. It was unsafe to stay there, esp. with an immunocompromised infant and young children. Owner refused to refund after hours of pleading, said “it was fine” We left immediately! Beware! Vrbo still unresolved and sent to healt&safety ticket.

Our vacation was great! Tom was awesome and very attentive to our needs. The house was perfect and you can’t beat being right on the beach. So convenient! We will be back.
