I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visited in June with 4 teenagers and had a lovely experience. The location cannot be beat, and having a guaranteed umbrella every day with a portion of the beach dedicated to only Holiday Surf's residents made it feel much more private--you weren't fighting for beach space or pool space or anything. The pool was kept very clean, and the laundry facilities were nice. It felt like a safe, family-friendly stay. The units are a little dated but perfectly accommodating and reasonably clean. Importantly, the A/C worked great. A few tips--laundry has card payment options but bring your own soap/dryer sheets. The water was fine but unfiltered, so we opted to drink bottled water. I highly recommend a wagon to cart all the beach belongings in one trip. If you have more than two people, you can bring separate chairs and an umbrella--you just have to set up behind the two rows of dedicated umbrellas. But it was a great experience all around. Highly recommend!

Stayed Jun 23, 2025The condo had plenty of space for 7 adults. Enjoyed pickleball on the courts. Swimming pool is nice. Ocean view from balcony was nice. Location is great…close to many things. Smaller resort than many so quieter and less congested. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025The condo was clean but we were disappointed in the overall stay. The a/c did not keep cool. Having no garbage shoot and having to bring it downstairs is a huge inconvenience. We come to Destin every year and this was our least favorite stay. We definitely will not stay here again.

Looking forward to next year. The umbrella situation continues to be a hit or miss. Signs have gone up for clarification but still see unhappy quests when claiming their umbrella.

The condo had everything our family needed for our week stay. It was very clean and had plenty of dishes, pots and pans to cook with, and a coffee pot. The living room was comofortable. Plenty of outdoor seating on the balcony. Great views, great tennis courts, great beaches, and friendly and professional staff. Our only complaint was the master bedroom bed, uncomfortable!
