Spacious beachfront penthouse w/private rooftop terrace in Destin!

I’ve stayed at silvershells for over 20 years. This trip was shared with friends and their family. Upon arrival I was stranded in the hallway of this unit with groceries for 30 minutes because the door code was invalid and no one would answer the phone to help… the neighbors were kind enough to invite me in for coffee while they called the maintenance to open the unit During my visit with the neighbor/president of the building, I was informed that the master bathtub floods the lower unit and has been an ONGOING issue, however I was only notified 2 days prior to my stay. No upgrades to this unit whatsoever. We were evicted 2 days in (from the beach) by a swat team lined up like we were criminals without any prior notice given to me (the property renter). I was refused video of the alleged activity… AND an innocent guest of mine was blamed for the incident. 8K down the drain and silvershells didn’t give ANY consideration to my family. Literally pulled us off the beach and waited while we drove away. We were told that “our city is the worst that they’ve ever hosted and that “we” the entire city apparently needs to find a new place to stay. To say the least… I’ve never been treated so poorly by an establishment in my 52 years of life. My family did nothing to deserve this treatment. Beware when you rent from silvershells. They will take your money and throw you out without so much as a blink of an eye.

The condo was very spacious and clean. The view from the balcony was amazing. We stayed 4 nights. Only suggestion for others when they book is the condo does not have any leftover items from previous guests. You will need to get coffee filters, baggies, etc. Also no s & p, spices etc. Definitely not a game changer as far as booking it for next year, The condo is fully stocked with plenty of cookware if you are cooking in the condo. We are already talking about renting again for next year! The property is beautifully maintained and felt very safe staying here.

The unit was wonderful. The view is amazing! There were just a few minor blips. The dishwasher didn’t work. The 2nd bedroom’s bathroom had draining drain issues in the shower and there was spackle on the wall above a towel rack that wasn’t attached. The 3rd bedroom is extremely cold and the 4th bedroom’s ceiling fan didn’t work. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils and pans. The overall decor is very nice. Overall, this place is a gem.

Great place and unit to celebrate. Plenty room to lounge around and be comfortable in during this potential in climate weather season. Freshly renovated and furnished, truly a five star property!

Silver Shells is great and St Croix is so convenient. This particular unit is a great location but the furnishings are old and outdated and the fixtures are also old and breaking down. Needs investment.

Overall I give this property a 3 Jacuzzi tub didn't work along top oven was out microwave didn't get very warm and in front bedroom T.V.'s didn't work for the 1 week stay.... Living room remotes didn't have batteries in the remote so I went to purchases batteries after waiting for some to be delivered. We did let them know but nothing was fixed... Enjoyed the view ? This penthouse is very nice and up to date. The views from the rooftops are amazing. Also is a good location and nothing to too far away.

The top oven didn’t work, the room wasn’t very clean there was dust on pictures, and beds and a very old banana peel on one of the pictures in one of the bedrooms. There was a small chest that had metal that was loose on the front of it and both of my grandsons cut their foot on it. Very disappointed in the upkeep of this condition of condo from last year! The dishwasher leaked one of the toilets wouldn’t quit running the jacuzzi wouldn’t fill up properly.
