And after a day on the mountain, the fun continues in the village with exclusive access to Club Solitude - your own private resort - with year around outdoor swimming, hot tubs, spas, saunas, billiards, fitness center, kids game room, theater room, fireplace, and apres-ski leisure.
This ski-in/ski-out condominium is in the center of the Village, with free parking, and views of the ski runs and the mountain. The condo has been upgraded with new hardwood floors, granite countertops, window treatments, and intimate lighting.
The condo sleeps 6 people - on one king bed and two queen sofa-sleepers. It includes a private master bedroom, den, living room, dining area, full kitchen, fireplace, free underground parking, ski lockers, HDTV, wireless Internet, optional housekeeping service during your stay, and more.
Enjoy true ski-in / ski-out convenience. This condo is in the middle of the Village. With upgraded bedding, furniture, and amenities, this condo is much more comfortable than the standard resort rentals.
Host is very responsive to inquiries. Great condo for skiing with cozy fireplace. Few minutes walk to lifts. Underground parking (with card key access) is great as there is not much public parking in Solitude. Ski locker on ground level is convenient. Condo is on the back side of the building, away from village center so a bit more quiet. There is no front-desk inside Powderhorn Lodge so be ready to self-serve. Lockbox is a little tricky to open (needs WD40?) Bring Kleenex. Will stay again!
We have been coming to Solitude for years. Its charm and perfection keep us coming back...but Powderhorn unit 203 was nothing but 20 years out of date and poorly maintained. The price per night warrants quality not lackluster accommodations. Don't get fooled by luxury in the description. It was disappointing. I would stay elsewhere.
It was our first time staying at Charlottetown, and will be a memorable experience, we will be back.
Really nice condo. Great furnishings and decor, including a thermostat controlled gas fireplace and nice leather recliner. Nice TVs in the living room and bedroom. Very convenient to the slopes, restaurants and pool/hot tubs. The village is small, with only two restaurants and very little evening activity, so this might not be the spot for everyone but it worked well for my wife and me.
We enjoyed the location and the unit immensely. Not a long walk to slopes and we got really lucky with the powder. We tried to take advantage of the solbrit trail to get a day at Brighton, but it was closed, so watch carefully if that is open for you, if you try the same. Unit was nicely furnished and outfitted.
Awesome place , hope to be back next year Apartment was wonderful and clean close to everything.
Three days of skiing at Solitude. Easy ski-in/ski-out. Good facilities with club, game room, pool and hot tubs. Couple of good restaurants close by. Easy access to SLC airport. If your focus is skiing, this place is great!
It was a great location but the property itself was very dated and didn't have nearly enough light. The wifi was also very unreliable and was frequently out..
We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again and I would highly recommend. The only improvement would be a soft memory foam for the bed, since the bed is pretty hard and some better lamps to light up the condo better. It’s really dark in all of the areas, even with window coverings open. We would definitely stay again though and we hope to have the opportunity. It’s really great and I highly recommend!!!
Stayed here for a wedding. Great location! Condo was clean and exactly what was promised.
Perfect summer weekend getaway.
This condo is in the Powderhorn Lodge at the base of Solitude. It is an easy walk to the lifts. Powderhorn Lodge has underground parking which was convenient. The unit was clean and comfortable. The owner, Kevin, responded to my questions quickly and was easy to reach. Though it's a one bedroom, there was a pullout couch in what these units term the den which is an open area to the right between the bedroom and the bathroom. I was there to ski, and it was an easy walk from the lodge to the Apex lift. From there you can get to anywhere on the mountain. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a ski getaway in the winter. I'm sure it would be fabulous in the summer as well.
