This 2-story unit has a spiral stair case and is spotlessly clean. The first floor features a great room effect with new laminate flooring and tile in the kitchen and bathroom. The living room is tastefully decorated and includes a couch, two matching arm chairs, an accent chair, a 50” Samsung TV (Cox Cable, Smart Roku, Amazon Firestick and WiFi) and board games. The fully-equipped eat-in kitchen brags new cabinetry, granite countertops, stainless appliances, and a stackable washer/dryer (additional laundry facilities in underground garage). The dining area boasts a peninsula bar with three barstools, a dining table with seating for 6 and buffet/sideboard. There’s a convenient half bath downstairs complete with new vanity, cabinetry and granite countertop. A simple deck off the living room includes a BBQ and two chairs allowing for intimate outdoor socializing. The second floor features plush new carpet, tiled bathrooms and window shades. Seascape is conveniently located. You could park in either of the two designated underground garage spaces and easily walk to beautiful beaches, a mini grocery market, many great dining options, night life, CVS, the post office, and walking/bike trails. Historic Highway 101/PCH with many fine and fast dining options, coffee shops, bars, live music, and nightlife is .3 miles from the condo. Take a .5 mile walk to Solana Beach’s Fletcher Cove Beach Park with public access and summer concerts in the park on Thursday nights. Also within walking distance and .8 miles away is the Solana Beach Amtrak train and Coaster (Beach Cities Light Rail) station. Avoid traffic by using the Coaster which runs from Oceanside to Downtown San Diego.

10 Things you should know about this property:

1.) Seascape is an oceanfront bluff condominium complex with private beachfront access.

2.) There is no ocean view from inside or directly outside this unit.

3.) The magnificent Pacific Ocean bluff view and staircase is about 100 steps or a I minute walk from the unit.

4.) Due to the proximity of the beach, this property (like most in the neighborhood) does not have air conditioning.

5.) Minimum 30 day rental: Exceptions could be made for more than 7 but less than 30 days with owner consent.

6.) Seascape is a smoke free complex per HOA rules.

7.) Absolutely no pets (non-negotiable), no smoking, and no drugs are permitted in the unit.

8.) Must climb stairs from parking garage to unit (an alternative exists) and inside the unit from downstairs to upstairs bedrooms.

9.) Rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding occupancy violations, excessive noise, and/or parties.

10.) Cancellation Policy and deposit forfeitures are strictly enforced.

    Cathy’s property is beyond spectacular in location (on the beach) and comfortable -a beautiful clean, relaxing and well-equipped (I lost count of coffee makers, cooking utensils and bar glasses!) condo that is simply lacking in no detail. I remarked how I would love to have drawers as organized as Cathy’s. She was in constant touch with us-provided us countless dining and entertainment options and even went out and bought me a piece of tech equipment so that it would be there in advance of our trip. She is the most thoughtful host we’ve ever met and we are grateful to her for hosting us! We will continue to rave about this memorable month.

    For the past 10 years I've spent the 4 winter months away from home. I live in the Colorado mountains where the winters are cold and snowy so Maui, Paris, London, California and Nevada are some of my go-to destinations. Even though most of my rentals have been okay to fine, I always know the description and photos will be embellished and better than the actual rental itself. This year was an exception. Catherine's beach cottage was everything and more than I envisioned. Furnished appropriately. Clean. Clean. Clean. She had created a booklet answering ever question one could want to know about the house itself and the surrounding area. My neighbors who primarily are full-time residents welcomed me, helped me and always acknowledged me. Since I was working on a writing project, I needed a quiet space and it was. The ocean is nearby. The landscaping is beautiful. And, I can't think of one negative thing to say.....so I won't! Mary Hirsch

    The property is located in a quiet gated community with direct access to the underground parking lot. You are literally steps away from the beach. Everything is well kept, clean and tidy! The unit itself is nicely appointed and you have absolutely everything you need. Catherine went the extra mile and decorated the house for Christmas as we were staying for the holidays. Thank you again! From the moment we booked and the swift responses to all our questions right up until the sad moment when the vacation was over we always knew our host was there for us! We will definitely look no where else when we come back to Solana Beach. This property has all the ingredients to make a perfect stay!

    It was all you could want from prime location overlooking the beach to secure parking. Catherine (the host) thinks of everything, her place is clean, modernized, quiet and has all the amenities. We will be back.
