This lovely retreat offers access right off the porch to the ski lifts at Granby Ranch, hiking and biking trails, and world class golfing and fishing down the street. The unit faces the slope, so it’s like having a ski hill in your backyard...just head out the back door to begin your adventures!

Located just 20 minutes past Winter Park on highway 40, Granby Ranch is one of Colorado's best kept secrets. We chose this location due to the significant number of activities available year-round and the relaxing atmosphere due to the absence of large crowds found at the larger resorts. Whether it's skiing, tubing, hiking or biking, golfing, fishing, or just kicking back and relaxing, you can find it all here in Granby Ranch.

Guests will have access to everything that our home has to offer! Upgraded finishes, cozy furnishings, towels and linens. Parking for one vehicle is available in the heated garage below the complex. Additional parking is available outside. A storage locker for ski and golf equipment is available for your use in the locker room down the hall. The kitchen, all living & sleeping areas and balcony are available for your full use. The community pool, located next to the condo complex, is available for guest use and features a heated pool and hot tub that are available year-round.

Granby Ranch has recently changed their policy for guest use of the community pool and community trails. Here are the details:

Pool: If you would like to use the community pool or hot tub, you will need to purchase a daily guest pass at the pool for $20 per person/per day. Children 8 and under are free and this also includes access to the clubhouse, game room and fitness center. For a pass to be issued you must provide proof that you are staying in this home. The welcome email or the confirmation email, showing the address, should suffice.

Trails: Granby Ranch is a little different from other ski resorts on federal land. Consisting of trails on primarily private land, all guests riding or hiking on either cross country trails or our lift-accessed downhill network must possess a valid pass or ticket product. Guests must also sign a waiver. Rates and tickets are available on the Granby Ranch website. One exception to this requirement is the Granby-to-Fraser trail, which does not require a pass or waiver.

Slopeside Delight is one the premier properties within the Base Camp One condo building, which is nestled at the base of the Granby Ranch Ski and Bike resort. This spacious home has 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and everything you need to make your stay enjoyable including updated finishes, tasteful furniture, modern electronics and breathtaking views from every room. Perfect for families and large groups, this property can sleep 10 (8 adults max) plus an additional child in the provided pack-n-play.

Parking is a breeze with the heated underground garage. You can arrive at Granby Ranch, park your car, unload your bags on a luggage cart and take the elevator just one floor up to the unit. No need to bundle up and trudge through ice and snow or up stairs to prepare for your vacation.

As a bottom floor unit, this luxurious home boasts uniquely easy access to the great amenities that Granby Ranch has to offer, including the community pool/hot tub, fire pit, base lodge bar/restaurant and ski lift that are right outside the door. The condo includes a gas fireplace, spacious dining area, fully-equipped kitchen and open concept living area that provides ample room for your group to lounge. It’s warm, upgraded finishes and cozy furnishings provide a homey touch to this mountain getaway. A porch facing the ski hill provides space to relax and enjoy the beauty of your surroundings.

After a long day on the slopes, you will find convenient storage for your gear with a dedicated storage locker available for your use just down the hall. Once inside, you’ll be ready to relax and enjoy your favorite show on one of the TVs or soak your sore muscles in the community hot tub and heated pool, both of which are available for your enjoyment and easy to access from this ground floor condo.

Kitchen:
The kitchen has all you will need for preparing meals including full size appliances and kitchenware. Supplies for cooking and baking, some basic spices, place settings for 12, a drip coffee maker, crock pot, blender and toaster are available for your use. There is a high chair/booster seat and dishes/utensils for the little ones.

Sleeping arrangements:
- Master (sleeps 2): features a king size bed, connected bathroom with a double vanity, tub and shower, views of the slope and a TV
- Junior Suite (sleeps 2): Queen bed, attached bathroom and views of the slope
- 3rd Bedroom (sleeps 4): Bunk bed (twin over queen with trundle underneath) and hall bathroom. There is also a pack and play in the closet
- Living Area (sleeps 2): Queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress in living area
- This home has 3 full bathrooms

Unlock the back door and unlock paradise! Sit on the patio and put on your skis, hop on your bike, or lace up your hiking boots and hit the trails. Afterwards, relax in the hot tub and heated pool or sit by the outdoor fire....all steps away from the condo. Those inside have a view of the mountain out of every window. We feel our condo is the best of the ski in/ski out world!

Winter Park, Grand Lake, Lake Granby, and Rocky Mountain National Park are also only minutes away.

    Absolutely the best place to stay at Granby. The patio is as close as you can possibly be to skiing, ski rentals and restaurants. The condo itself appears to have been recently updated. You communicate directly with the owner instead of some third party management company and the owner is super friendly. I will definitely rent this condo on our next trip to Granby!

    Great property with unbeatable location. Top notch communication from the owners. This place is perfect for summer or winter. You’re within 50 yards of both the ski/bike lift and our favorite restaurant, Bluebird Bistro. If you haven’t eaten there, do so. We did every night we could. Granby Ranch and this condo are the perfect place to bring a family for mountain biking, hiking, fishing, skiing and more.

    This property is in the most ideal location at Granby. We stayed here with our family of 5 and friends who had a family of 4 and it worked perfectly. The kids stayed in the bunk room and had a bathroom to share and each couple had their own bedroom + bathroom. There was plenty of room to relax each evening in the living room and play games at the dining table. I can't stress enough how great the location is to the Lodge and the lifts. The communication with the owner was fantastic and he was able to assist quickly with any questions/needs we had. I will note that the one ski locker didn't fit all of our gear so we did end up keeping our boots in the back of our suburban at night, so keep that in mind with a large group as ski equipment isn't allowed in the condo (for good reason). It worked out great for our group!

    We had a great time at our Granby condo. It was literally steps away from the ski lift and base camp. It was so nice being able to step out the back door and head right to the lifts. The condo was perfectly situated for two families. It was a bummer that some of the runs were closed and that only one lift was operating but it was a great first ski experience for my kiddos. They are already asking when they can ski again!

    We LOVED having 1st-floor slopeside access where our skiers/boarders could just pop in for a break & we could keep an eye out. So convenient to the lodge if you want to pop over for a drink or meal! Condo was very clean & tidy, had great amenities, & is nicely appointed. Great homey feel! Communication was fantastic. We do have a couple of notes that might be worth consideration. The very thing that makes the location so amazing - being slopeside - also comes with some realities of the work that has to be done overnight. The groomers, plows, snowmobiles, etc., make quite a bit of noise & shine bright lights at the building, & the blinds are not blackout so you end up with a lot of light in the unit. Not a big problem for a lot of people but light sleepers or people who have trouble sleeping through light and sound might be affected. Also, the unit does get passed by all day long by everyone coming & going from the parking areas to the lifts. Again, didn't bother us much (we love the people watching) but something to keep in mind. Finally, & this you'd have no way of really knowing, but it turns out you can't actually see the green/blue mountain & main lift from the patio itself because there's a big tree in the line of sight. Again overall it's an amazing spot but I might actually look for another unit that's farther west just so I can watch my people come down. Still a 5-star review & we loved it so much it overall, just some notes for those who might want to know.

    We had a great stay. The location was great for our family. Easy to get to when we were skiing. Nice to sit on the patio and watch our children ski when we took a break.
