Sleek beach condo w/water views & shared facilities for guest use

I was forced (with 15 minutes notice) to move my stuff into the lobby as no other units were available. Then moved to another unit the next evening which was not as nice. Then, forced to move again a few days after that to a unit that was half the size.No balcony access after day 1. Couldn't see out the window from the constuction mess. At notice they were draining the pool, I left Sterling Shores so that I could find a place to enjoy what was left of my vacation.

Perfect for our family with 2 teens. Plenty of room and location and views were amazing. We did rent a car to get to the Harbour walk and a few other activities. Elevator was never busy and beach access was easy.

We have stayed at Sterling Shores several times. The grounds are beautiful compared to other places I have seen. The condo was just as shown on the pictures. We had plenty of room for everything, the place was nicely decorated and clean. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a great view of the ocean!

Condo was beautiful, pictures do not do it justice. The property was very nice and well kept. Communication with property manager was good, check in process was seamless. Parking was easy and abundant, the gate to enter would sometimes get “stuck” but the security staff were always helpful. The pool area was well maintained and quick access to the beach was amazing. There was some mold growing in the master bathroom shower but that is a common issue. Hot tub was a nice bonus, the jets were very strong and also were pointed upward (perhaps during cleaning) which led to a quick startle but was no big deal so check them before turning it on LOL. The patio door did not lock easily and the picture on the wall to the side of the fridge was not in a great space given the fridge handles but we tied a towel to the fridge to prevent any damage to the picture. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Renting was online easy all info was emailed to me. Some items needed was not mentioned up front. Only after we were on our way. Great view of swimming pool and beach! But, it was very out dated.

This property was clean and comfortable. it is close to the beach and many restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Great experience. First time visiting Destin, Florida from Texas. Will be back again.

Locale was great overall. Easy walk across property to beach. Room was clean, great view. Only complaint is beyond the properties control is in later afternoon and evening, going anywhere was difficult and traffic could be crushing. Expect 2-3 times the expected time to drive to other locations.

We just returned from our stay at Sterling Shores in Destin. We had a wonderful time! We were looking for something that would allow us to stay for four nights instead of seven, which was a little challenging, so we feel lucky to have found this condo. The location is awesome and the view is picturesque! While the condo itself was a little dated and could have been cleaned a little better (fuzzies under beds and in closets, and food crumbs under the sleeper sofa for example), it was still great. One thing I would recommend from management is letting guests know in the listing (or a week ahead of time) that a start up set of toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher pellet, laundry detergent, etc. is provided. This may just help guests to know what to pack and not have to go buy. Also, I would suggest texting or emailing or include in the listing or even in the condo, what is needed before checking out. It was fine, I called the day before to see what we had to do (take out trash only, did not have to wash towels or strip bedding), so it was super easy, but that is something that could easily be avoided. Overall, we had an AMAZING time on our stay! We highly recommend it!

Beautiful views, clean, spacious and so much to do! Felt like home away from home
