Had a great time location was excellent the management company was very responsive and helpful. Great experience!!!
We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo unit to others. The only frustration was the dishwasher did not work through our stay. We contacted Vascasa maintenance and they tried to assist but were not successful. Beyond that issue, it was good.
We enjoyed this vacation rental. We had a little trouble with the lock at first to get in. Overall, it was a good. Recommend another box fan for cooling down in the summer months. Our stay was in July, 2023.
Can’t beat the location … absolute best for skiing at GR. Communication with property manager was great and property was clean. A couple critiques: 1) the queen sized bed in the master bedroom bed was brutal … not at all comfortable. And the same goes for the pillows. Ugh! I’d recommend packing your own. 2) limited linens are provided with the unit, with no replenishment during your stay. We barely had enough for each member of our family to have their own set. Same goes for the kitchen - Only two kitchen towels were provided for the kitchen and no kitchen wash cloths. 3) no towels are provided for the pool/hot tub. Given how limited the linens were to begin with, this was a bummer. 4) Speaking of the pool … it is an additional $10/person/day to use the pool and hot tub. We thought these fees were excessive! Consider yourself warned! 5) the family room carpet could definitely use a deep clean!
Base Camp One at Granby Ranch was perfect for our family of five. We stayed in February and had 3 young beginner skiers. The unit is so conveniently located next to the ski lodge which really makes it easy on the parents. The unit had everything you need for cooking meals, had extra blankets and plenty of towels in the bathroom. We would definitely stay here again.
Our interaction with local staff was great, he was very friendly! On the other hand our interaction with vacasa support was so poor that we will not be renting from vacasa again. We had a single kitchen trash bag when we arrived and when we told text support this the response was that we would have to buy more after we used the initial supply of one bag. Also, we received an email offering late check-out. We responded the next day, but the link was unavailable so we texted support at 5pm. Support told us that the deadline to respond was 4pm even though the email had no deadline for responding. When requesting that we find a reasonable solution for being 1hr past the unannounced deadline, support said there were no exceptions and there were unable to do anything. The stinginess regarding house supplies (1 trash bag) and inflexibility to work with us on an uncommunicated deadline is highly inferior to renting from individuals so we will not be renting from vacasa in the future.
The location of room was quiet. We had a beautiful view from the balcony which over looked the slopes. Plenty of room for four people. Bathrooms were large. Kitchen was well equipped and plenty big.
The unit was located in a great spot looking towards the mountain and there was a cute little balcony. We arrived late and the instructions were not accurate or clear as to where to park. It appears there is a parking garage but we did not have the code or information upon arrival. There is also a code to get into the building which we also did not have upon arrival. When we got in from another guest we found the unit and thankfully the 10 digit code worked to get into the place! Although to our disappointment, the Wi-Fi network name and password were incorrect. We contacted Vacasa via text the next morning and they were able to get us all the information but a bit confusing/frustrating that we did not have all the correct information prior to arrival. Overall the unit was in great condition, clean and in an awesome location. 10 for the unit owner…. 3 for vacasa management.
Pretty nice condo with a great view of the lift and ski hill---would look very nice in winter. Decent kitchen utensils and furniture and comfortable beds. Great location and close to food shopping, liquor store, and great restaurants. I'd rent it again.
Everything was clean and as expected. We had everything we needed and you can't beat the location. Super easy and a bonus that they have the elock. We have stayed in other units that didn't and it can be a bit of a pain to get keys. Top notch and will come again!
