Saltwater Shores, A Beachfront Retreat

We enjoyed our stay. Views were awesome and we appreciated/needed the elevator so that my husband, who uses a wheel chair, could also enjoy a trip to the ocean.

This was a really lovely property and perfect for a visit with extended family! Large enough to come together and have time apart.

The views from this property are amazing! You will not be disappointed.

It's a beautiful house with awesome views!

We stayed at this property September 14 -19, though it was off season, most places were open. This was our 1st stay at Carolina Beach and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The area had so much to offer within walking distance of the house. Within less than a10 minute walk we could reach more than a dozen restaurants/bars and the board walk was only 5 minutes from the house. One of our favorite things in the area was Lake Park that surrounded a lake. The entry was only a couple of blocks from the house and each morning we could circle the lake a couple of times and enjoy some morning exercise. The house was everything it was advertised to be. It is located right on the beach and access to the ocean was easy. It was spacious, comfortable, very clean, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We had the upper floor, so our view was spectacular. It was 52 steps up to the front door, but the elevator worked well so hauling luggage and groceries was quite easy. We would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Great unit. As always the beaches of Carolina Beach and Kure beach are unbelievable. Water for much of stay was mid 80s like bathwater and just right wave action. We usually stay a little more south toward Kure beach where the beach is a little more sparse but there were no issues at beach here and it was closer to town and walking distance to restaurants. Would def rent again. Highly recommeded.

There was sand in all the showers. Hair all over the floors. They did offer to send the cleaning crew but we were only staying for a couple of days and didn’t want to have to plan around that. Convenient location and beautiful views of the beach. For the price every thing but the cleanliness was great.

Beautiful property, very clean, amazing view of the ocean! The property manager was very attentive and kind. Lots of space for our family to enjoy the weekend together. The beds were very comfortable. We will book again!

The property is as beautiful as the picture depict. Location is wonderful - easy access to the beach and short walk to the boardwalk area. Kitchen is well stocked for making meals at 'home' after a fun day on the beach. Can watch the Thursday night fireworks from the deck. Highly recommend this property!

This home is amazing! It’s right on the beach, beautiful views, close to shops and restaurants, absolutely perfect. We had a group of 8, and all were comfortable. I think 1 thing that sets this home above others is the king sized beds, that are actually comfortable! There were plenty of blankets and pillows for all. There was room at the dining room table for 8, which was also great. You could definitely tell this home is a ‘luxury’ home. The only suggestions that I would have is to provide a broom and dustpan. There was a vacuum, but sometimes you just need a broom. I would also recommend bringing a few towels of your own as there are no beach towels provided. We were only provided 6 towels and should have had 8. Admittedly we did not contact the host for extras as we had extras so it wasn’t needed. Would definitely visit again!
