Salted Tranquility at The Palms Of Destin

It was a perfect location and everything about the room was amazing.

We were in town for a celebration of life, so location was very important. The resort has a lot to do for families and is just across the highway from a beautiful state park beach. This 2-bedroom unit was perfect for a short visit. Fully stocked with amenities to make it an easy stay.

The condos location was great; however, the amenities of the condo were horrible. The master bed was extremely hard and the pillows were very flat. The master bedroom AC does not seem to work and the fan chain is pulled out, so it does not help cool the room. The condo is advertised as having 6 guest but there were only 4 forks and spoons. There was chewed gum on the floor by the patio door that my one year old got into. There were ants all over the floor and the cleaning crew showed up a day early. We booked this condo in April 2024. We were contacted a few weeks later stating the Condo had been sold and we needed to cancel our booking and rebook due to the condo switching owners. I asked if the old price would be honored and they said yes. We were told to book at the new price and then upon check-in we would be refunded the difference. We waited three days after we checked in before asking about the refund (refund totaling $313). We were put in contact with the owner Praveen who then gave us the run around for two more days. On our last day he finally told us that we would not get our refund due to business is slow. After more communication, he decided to refund us $100. We contacted Rita, who is onsite, for help. She was able to get us an additional $75 but out of her pocket. Praveen, the owner, did not honor the agreement (written in emails) and because of that we were stuck with the difference. I would not recommend this condo!

Great clean safe location. Loved pool area and hotel restaurant.

There was great communication from the manager and host. They were very helpful with the check in process. This was our first time in Destin and it won’t be our last. We had a great vacation. The condo was very clean and the manager Rita was extremely friendly. Our family likes to cook on vacations and we really appreciated the variety of high quality cookware and great selection of spices. The resort has an amazing pool that is huge and never felt too crowded during our visit. As an additional amenity the resort offers a shuttle service that came in very handy. We really enjoyed the Henderson state park. It was very family friendly area and offered clean restrooms and spacious beach areas. I Highly recommend this location. It has great management and lots of family friendly activities to enjoy.

I truly, truly enjoyed my stay. The location was easy to find. The condo was spacious, clean, enjoyable and relaxing. I would recommend this location to all of my family and friends... I definitely will be coming back..

We really enjoyed the stay, the property was very nice and the employees were all very helpful and polite. Checkin was less than five minutes.

Very clean and well thought out. Very friendly contact with property manager. Its my first time using vrbo and i appreciated their patience with me. Good bit of learned advice, call ahead before your arrival, its important to stay in contact with you host's manager... who was an absolute angel. I absolutely will love to stay again, the pools were great, and the bistro was on point, even had stuff for my 5 year old to do... who wanted to live the forever My one and only tiny complaint and it was just a very minor one was one of the bedrooms was smaller than expected, but i much rather have it than not having it. The kicthen had plenty of plates, pots, utensils, appliances, and much more. The bathrooms was roomy and very accommodating. And the balcony was a great place to lounge and watch the sunrise over Destin.

My family had an amazing time! There was 6 of us and we all slept comfortably. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Rita was so nice and checked in on us to make sure we were ok. I would definitely recommend!

Great space for us. The walk to the beach was manageable with 3 under 7 but we enjoyed the short 2 minute drive to Henderson state park better. It gave us much more beach space. The condo was great. No complaints!
