RG 208 Rivendell On The Guadalupe

- Excellent A/C and Heating.- No Curtains - poor sleeping environment with all the light coming in from the security lights in the parking lot. In fact, no curtains anywhere including the balcony where the lady in 209 could just pull back her curtain and ask us how long we would be here.- Tiny walk in shower; no way to avoid the cold water because the shower head wouldn’t move and there was no way to turn on the faucet without getting a blast of cold water.- Only one recliner (and it had a broken spot that was covered by a pillow. The sofa bed had a low spot when you sat in it. Sad seating.- Only one closet for clothes (Master Bed Room). The 2nd Bedroom had a closet which was locked and a sign said it was for the property owners only. There were also no drawers for clothes in the 2nd bedroom. My wife’s clothes took all the available space in the Master. I had no place to hang my clothes; just laid them out on the beds in 2nd bedroom best I could.- Faucet in Kitchen is very hard to turn off. - Light switch in Bedroom 2 has a short and I had to jiggle it to get it to work.- TV/Cable was a cheap setup; no Netflix or Prime Video Apps available. No HBO, Starz or Cinemax.- Has Mr Coffee - no provision for K-Cups.- Bed in the Master has a Mattress Topper. Works okay on one side but there is an uncomfortable low spot on the other side.

A gated community sounded great & we did feel safe, but we approached by security before we even got out of the car. Actually felt hounded about displaying our parking pass & wristbands. We understood the asdignment...just needed time to actually get them from inside the condo! While on the property you could definitely tell who was an owner & who was renting! The owners did not appear happy about us being there. They stared & smirked at us even when greeting them with a hello or good morning. We felt TOTALLY unwelcomed!

This property was lovely; clean and comfortable with easy access to the Guadalupe river and a quick 20 minute drive to Gruene and New Braunfels. Plus it’s close to Canyon Lake. There was so much of Hill Country to enjoy and this property made us feel like we were at home. It’s worth knowing that it’s rowdy on the weekends in the summer but during the week, it’s very peaceful.

Wonderful location, quiet and peaceful Highly recommend

Right on the river with tubing company next door. Kids loved the pool. Wouldn’t recommend for a family with kids though, due to thin walls and ceilings and a party crowd. Unit itself was very clean. Comfy beds and big bathrooms, but some of the furniture in living room was broken or wobbly. Hard to use a table or chairs that feel like they’re going to tip over.
