Retreat on Rockport Bay | Pool + Fishing Pier

The unit was very spacious, clean and well-appointed. Our terrier loved hanging out on the extra large balcony with us. Communication, check-in and check-out were spot-on. Will definitely return the next time we travel down to Rockport.

Pool was under construction and wasn’t notified with enough time to cancel reservation. Beds were too soft small TVs in bedrooms but other than that awesome location.

Glasss, pots & pan, sheet pans all rusty Teflon scratched off. Glasses were old looking, had a crock pot but couldn’t use it there was no lid. Did love the balcony view, we were on the 2nd floor it was spectacular!!! Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed strolling through the shops in Rockport & walking the piers.

This unit looks just like the pictures. It was clean and well equipped. Melissa was very helpful in letting us in when the battery had died on the keypad. The location is right on Water Street, which is a great walk for sea views. Finding a parking spot was easy. Unfortunately, a house has been built right in the unit’s line of sight toward the bay, although you can still see on both sides of it. Quality of furniture and utensils is adequate. One final note: the booking process transfers you to Miss Kitty’s, which requires that an extremely onerous contract waiving all your rights be signed.

We really enjoyed this place. Great views from balcony. Comfortable living room furniture. You’ll want to bring seasonings for cooking. There is nothing. No salt, pepper, etc. Would stay again.

This property was a perfect getaway during extremely cold and icy weather in our home state. The property was perfectly located within close proximity to restaurants and shopping and local attractions. This was also a great place to bring our two lap dogs…the property is completely hard floored, which was great for any unlikely “oopses” by them. The property surrounding the location also had plenty of space for pet relief areas and the balcony is also secure to keep them from falling off or getting their heads stuck between the rails. We found the property to be neat and clean and fully able to facilitate meal preparation. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful and the hot tub proved to be a nice extra amenity. We stayed here during an “off” season, so it was very quiet and uncrowded. The pier and beach area provided for some interesting sights including fish, pelicans and even a few dolphins. It also seems a great area to fish although we did not do any, we observed several wading fishermen out in the water. All in all, this was an effortless and easy “turn-key” check in and check out and proved to be a great location for our short vacation. Thanks!
