Reposada Unit 1

The Space:

Santa Fe Plaza is a short walk from this lovely, one-bedroom condo. Affectionately nicknamed Reposada, highlights include a classic kiva fireplace and a private garden courtyard. The 1,022-square-foot floor plan boasts fine tile work, an airy living area, and a dreamy bedroom with courtyard access. A gas fireplace in the dining room adds to the allure. Stroll to an array of museums, breweries, and restaurants a few blocks from your door. The storied Santa Fe Rail Yard Arts District is within walking distance.

A wood-burning kiva fireplace is the centerpiece of the open living room. Make use of the complimentary firewood and settle in on the sofa bed and leather armchair for a movie on the 42-inch smart TV. A skylight floods the space with natural light. A desk is handy for checking email on your laptop.

Tap into your culinary side in the sunlit kitchen, fully equipped with everything you need to fix home-cooked meals. A full suite of appliances includes a gas range. Enjoy morning coffee at the inviting two-person bar. When your recipes are ready, turn up the gas fireplace and serve memorable meals at a table for four.

Discover serenity in the bedroom, appointed with contemporary Southwestern art. A door leads out to the courtyard. Artistic tile details the guest bathroom, configured with a tub/shower combination.

Find your bliss in the private garden courtyard, complete with a gas grill and a dining table for four - the perfect place for a sunset cookout.

With Santa Fe Plaza in 0.3 miles and the Rail Yard Arts District in 0.6 miles, your rental is within walking distance of many of the city's favorite attractions. Tour the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum (0.2 miles), then explore a restaurant scene rich in Mexican, Spanish, and New American cuisine. Ski Santa Fe awaits in a picturesque 16-mile drive.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath is very clean, nice, and spacious. It is well furnished and reasonably stocked with essentials. I do suggest that if you don't bring your own non-stick frying pan, be sure and bring some cooking spray/oil. They have 4 frying pans and non of them will cook without food sticking. The house does not have central air conditioning. It does have plenty of heaters for the Winter time, but it only has one portable AC unit for the Summer. Most of the time this is sufficient but there are days when the temperature gets into the high 90s and it takes a long time for the AC unit to cool down the whole home.

A lovely spot just minutes from Taos center with a view of the mountains. The home was very roomy and pleasantly decorated, with ample amount of amenities. The mattresses could be updated, but the biggest issue was the lack of water pressure.

The house was comfortable,well-equipped and close to Taos, but out-of-town, which we preferred. It snowed all day and some of the next during our stay, and it was lovely to stay inside in the cozy house! We also walked around the area, which was very nice. Taos was wonderful, and we took day trips to Abiquiu and Ghost Ranch, as well as the Enchanted Circle and the High Road.

This is my second stay at Casa Allis and it is one of my favorite places to stay in El Prado. With so many windows you can see both the mountain sunrise and the desert sunset. The kitchen is very well equipped.

Attractive adobe casita with all conveniences, nice kitchen, terrific views and privacy, close to town and to Outdoor exploring. Good light and comfortable furniture in living room and bedrooms, decor very attractive and lively, altogether a gem of a place for two older travelers. Would come back certainly.

3 nts in late Sep, 2023. Location was good for access to Taos and other towns. Home was clean, furniture comfortable with well-stocked kitchen. TV network options were poor unless you had streaming subscriptions. Papergoods were cheap, thin and inefficient. Info from Vacasa dribbled out in disparate emails and text messages rather than in one.
