Absolutely wonderful stay during my last minute trip over from Oahu. Debbie was spectacular and very patient during the booking process where there were a number of glitches with the website. Check in was easy even after a flight delay that shifted my arrival hours later.The unit was lovely and the view of ocean with clear views of Lanai and Moloka'i were unrivaled. I spent most of my trip simply relaxing, reading and listening to the ocean. Parking was always available, the grounds were clean and location excellent. I will absolutely stay here again!

The Kulakane is amazing! You can’t beat the views the privacy and the feeling of being right on the ocean. They are perfect for a getaway trip with family or just a husband and wife. They are located in the perfect spot where you don’t have to travel far to do any excursions. Plenty of shops beaches and restaurants near. I will recommend anyone traveling to Maui to stay at the Kulakane!

We saw whales and dolphins from the balcony! Very peaceful location. Note, this is an older building so you may hear the upstairs tenant (which was noisy at times). Otherwise, the area itself is quiet. Couch pullout is a little noisy, but quite comfortable and larger than the bedroom bed. Great bbq grills, and easy access for early morning snorkel before high tide.

The condo had all the amenities we needed, including cooler, beach chairs, beach towels. Only improvements we'd recommend are: replacing the sofabed as it is old and squeaky, update items/areas ie. bathroom door doesn't close well, burnt out lightbulbs, the 4 beach umbrellas are all cheap and old, black out curtains/blinds in bedroom would be nice, plug-in fans were too dusty to use, condo was clean but not deep cleaned ie. edges of counters were sticky, bathroom walls had floss chunkies, etc. Note there is no AC in the unit but the breeze was good enough. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return! Mahalo to Debbie for timely responses to all my queries.

Debbie and Tony would be the reason we would come back. They both are so friendly and we’re very helpful with getting us familiar with the island. Tony is always cleaning every morning outside to make it look nice, and Debbie always has a smile when she greets you in the morning. Would recommend this place to everyone.
