Stayed Sep 10, 2025Thanks to Debbie. She was extremely responsive to all of my Q’s. The only disadvantage I would say is not having an AC unit which they had already mentioned as it got hot a few days. Other than that view is great and with convenience to shops nearby.

Reviewer Comments: Everything was great except it was very noisy and cigarette smoke coming in through the open window in the morning. Had stayed here before but didn’t have any of that. The one bedroom is really too small for anything over 2 people even though it sleeps 4. The location is nice and having ocean view for all condos is perfect.

Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at The Kulakane several times in the past 40 years as well as many other condos in the Honokowai area only because of non-available Kulakane when I needed the booking The Kulakane is the best if you want a clean, quiet, well maintained somewhat older property to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. It cannot be beat.

Too bad the County of Maui is dragging it's governmental feet regarding repairs to the seawall and the area right behind it. 3 years is ridiculous
