Stayed Feb 27, 2026Amazing hosts, clean and quiet stay, and comfy bed!! It was so relaxing and refreshing to stay with the Freeman’s. They were there if we needed anything at all!! Highly, highly recommend staying here if you have business or are planning a weekend trip to Oxford - it’s the perfect distance from town.

Stayed May 8, 2025The place was just as described and fit my needs perfectly. It offers a mostly quiet and peaceful evening after returning from whatever you're doing downtown. I would have loved to have had a way to have brought the fresh eggs home with me.

Stayed Sep 8, 2023I was looking for a weekend getaway to relax, meditate and step away from it all, and this place was ideal. It's an apartment under the main house on several acres with its own private entrance and was very cozy. The treehouse was great for sitting and relaxing, and the place is just down the road from Sardis Lake and close to good mountain bike trails. The hosts also left farm fresh eggs which were delicious. The only sounds I heard were the wind blowing through the trees and the occasional rooster crow in the morning. A great place for a relaxing getaway.
