Pool + Dock Access: Osage Beach Retreat!

I was traveling to the area on business, and brought my wife with me on this trip. The location and layout of this condo was wonderful. The views of the lake were absolutely beautiful. There were a few things that kept this from being a perfect stay for us. I travel quite a bit and stay in quite a few VRBO's throughout the year. This unit could've used some extra cleaning. There were some cobwebs in the unit, and the balcony had tons of spiders, which made my wife not want to go out on the balcony. The shower in the master bath had some rather large clumps of hair in the drain that made it drain rather slowly, and there was a ring around the tub portion. We actually gave it a good wipe down when we got there. Not necessarily the host's fault, but we found out on the day of arrival that the gas grill couldn't be used due to them being banned by the complex. We also never actually saw a hot tub while we were there. Maybe we just missed it somehow. Having said that, the unit was spacious and very convenient for us. The kitchen had everything we needed. Would've been a great unit for a family of four.

The entry code did not work but the owner responded very quickly and resolved the issue. Wifi and TV options were very good. Parking was not good. Very small pool for a very large complex. Condo needs a few repairs and could use some spray for spiders. Overall stay was good.

From the time we arrived to leaving. Everything was so awesome. The Condo was great and the views spectacular. We definitely will be back. I got some beautiful pictures of the sunrise on this deck.

I initially did not want to leave a review but the owner did not do anything to compensate me with my issues on his property. Upon arrival, the apartment seemed clean and well taken care of, but as I looked further I saw a ton of spiders and webs on the balcony that really bothered me because all I wanted to do was sit on the balcony and relax by that water. This was the worst part, besides that the freezer was filthy and the ice maker did not work. We left to get ice and bug spray to try to make it a better experience which was never in the plans. We found chocolate chips under the chair and some crumbs here and there which indicated it was not as clean as we initially thought. The bed was super hard and back home I have a sleep number which I love it to be firm but this bed was unbearable because I woke up sore. We ended our trip early, didn’t want to spend another day/night there. We paid for 2 nights, I addressed the issue with Joey the owner only for him to not offer to refund anything. This was my birthday trip, I left on my actual birthday to return home with no plans. Going to this apartment was the worst decision ever. I will not be back.

Our unit was great, the own contacted us to see how things were, and took care of our noisy condo above us. They were working on the unit for 5 days and it was all day and night ( passed the 11:00 pm ) stopping time. But our unit was great

Beautiful view of the main channel. Condo was nice for the price. AC worked great as it was very hot outside when we were there.

View from main bedroom is spectacular, as is the view from the deck. Property is clean, quiet area, lake access, good pool, easy host to work with.

Great location! Nice condo. Access code didn't work but had correct one within a few minutes. Would stay here again.

We loved the closeness of the lake and the views from the Condo. There were a few minor issues and the property manager took care of it promptly and was incredibly gracious. We had a nice stay and enjoyed the complex pool and lake sandy beach. Restaurants and shopping f were also close by. Would recommend!
