Pleasure Island Paradise - closest rental to the beach you will find

The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. It had more than we expected. The proximity and view of the ocean were amazing! The owners were extremely responsive.

Sitting on the deck and watching the waves is so relaxing. There are sandbags in front of the complex due to erosion, however while seated on the deck, the sandbags are not visible. The rental is well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. My family returns year after year to relax and enjoy the view.

This is our 2nd time staying here & we absolutely love it. We’ve already booked our next stay. It’s a one of a kind location. Heaven on earth to us.

This is truly paradise, this is our favorite rental of all time. The decor is stunning and you feel like royalty from the moment you arrive. Colleen is the perfect hostess. 5 stars is not enough for this slice of paradise.

We loved our stay at Kure beach! This condo is so well stocked and comfortable. Our kids loved the toys, games, and special blankets on the kids beds. My son lived in the shark blanket for the whole week. We hope to be back!

When they say ocean front, they mean ocean front and I loved it! Best vacation ever.

As a big family we truely felt at home away from home. It was the small details for me. Not having to pack our chairs or tent or beach toys on top of our other things was a major plus for me. The view was BEAUTIFUL we loved watching the sunrise and being near fort fisher to go take a walk. The coquina rocks were also a beauty. Thank you for everything Alex & Colleen!!

My kids and I had an amazing stay. Everything was perfect. The hosts truly make it feel just like home. I especially appreciated the little “extras” they had (like sugar, k-cups, and qtips) so nice to not have to run back to the store when we forgot something. Thank you so much to our gracious hosts! We will be back!

Pleasure Island Paradise was phenomenal! The location is unmatched...ocean front, beautiful beach, beautiful scenery, and a short drive from the pier, resturants, and shopping! The pool was clean and well kept. Check in was flawless, the keypad with our own code was so easy to use and no fumbling to remember the code. The condo was well stocked with toiletries, towels, and kids stuff! We vacationed with a 1 yr old and a 6 year old, both had a great, safe time. The wildlife was wonderful. We spent every morning and every evening on the balcony. Our 6yo loved the high tide clock in the living room and was always telling us if it was high or low tide and when we needed to go look for shells and crabs. We highly recommend this spot to other beach goers! So much to do and see, we hope to come back next summer.

We have been coming to Kure Beach for about 15 years and have stayed in several different condos over that time. This condo is the cleanest, most comfortable and homey condo we have ever stayed in!! Views are remarkable!! Hope to stay here again next year!!

Honestly, even without the host’s thoughtful touches, this condo would’ve been amazing. The attention to detail is just a great bonus. You could not be closer to the ocean without being in the water. It’s a beautiful, quiet area perfect for taking a walk to enjoy nature.

Great inviting space...easy access...great location. Owners went above and beyond to provide everthing you need. We would love to return.

My husband and I stayed here 11 years ago and it was great. The updates the owners have done are fabulous, they make sure to have everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They were very nice and timely with any questions i had. Will definitely be back. Hopefully just not so long this ti.e.

We needed a few days to just stop & recharge. Seeing the ocean and hearing the waves for a few days fit the bill. You really can’t get any closer to the water. The condo was just as described including all of the amenities and supplies. Pack your clothes and toothbrush and go!

We were looking somewhere to celebrate our 31st anniversary that was easily accessible to the beach…we found it! You never needed to leave the deck to enjoy the beach, it was that close. The condo was very well equipped with everything you would ever need and more. Colleen was very responsive to a couple of issues that arose that were beyond her control. She drove 2 hours to replace a TV that wasn’t working. I couldn’t ask for more in her responsiveness! She is great!!

Our fourth stay was great as usual. It has a very well stocked kitchen. Everything is well stocked. Couldn’t be any closer to the beach just as the listings say. We will be back again next year for sure.

Colleen's place is beautiful and comfortable - exactly as described and pictured in the listing. We loved being close to the ocean. Colleen always answered questions quickly and was a wonderful host!

We loved staying here! The house itself is nicely decorated, updated kitchen and appliances. Perfect size for our family of two kids and a baby! Absolutely loved the location of this unit in particular, easy beach access and loved sitting on the porch watching the sunrise. Will never be this close to oceanfront again! Note that during high tide the beach directly in frontof the unit is not useable, but wider beach is very very short walk. The pool was also great too. This was stocked with everything we needed and it was so convenient having the chairs, boogie boards, and even sand toys there for our use. It was very quiet, couldn't hear neighbors. We barely left the unit and loved every second. Wish we could keep it our own little secret but it's too good not to share! Thank you for letting us stay and make memories.

The description does not do this condo justice. Absolutely beautiful. Very well stocked & maintained. Very clean & so close to the ocean. The owner is very responsive and kind. Will definitely be back!
