Pet Friendly | Oceanfront View | Stylish 2nd Floor Sea Dunes Villa

Wonderful vacation, lovely condo..just perfect, looking out to the ocean from balcony each morning, fabulous! Met and exceeded out expectations for cleanliness, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds.. great weather!

We had the best family vacation. The property was very clean, well stocked and had amazing views from the balcony. We loved being able to walk straight on the beach or relax in the pool. The owners were outstanding and took great care of us. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to book again!!

Renting through Amelia Island Getaways was a great experience! Great communication from beginning to end! They answered all questions we had. Condo was awesome! Pictures are accurate. Everything in the condo that we needed. Beds slept great! Everything was clean. Loved the keyless entry. Walk to the beach was easy for us older folks. Great areas to walk your dog! We liked having the manned security entrance to the plantation. The route to the condo is a little intimidating at first if you're not familiar with the South end of the Island and the plantation. BUT once you get used to it there's no problem. It's a beautiful area! The grounds at Sea Dunes are beautifully landscaped and very well maintained. The pool area is awesome! Also, I have to add that it's a short drive to Baxter's Restaurant for the best steaks on the Island! Highly recommend! Always our favorite! Was sad to learn that Brett's Waterway Cafe will be gone by the end of the year! Love Brett's! If you rent umbrellas/chairs for the beach BEWARE of Sunsetters Beach Service! The picture shows how one of our umbrella's was left. Did it fall? We're not sure. We rented 2 umbrellas and 3 chairs from Sunsetters for 2 days. The 2nd day this is how we found 1 of the umbrellas. Guy said he would refund our money for the 1 umbrella. He could not get anyone out there to put it back up & we had no way to put it up. We have NOT received a refund & he won't respond to my text. We would definitely stay here again!

Overall great location, nice view, close beach access. AC was limited however due to an issue w/ freezing and had to supplement w/ fans.

The view is nice and it's great that they take dogs. But, as soon as we walked into the condo, we realized it needed updating. The entire condo needs painting, the table on the deck is rusted, shower floor is stained, curtain/curtain rod needs to be replaced, burnt out light bulbs in the bathroom. The master bed and pillows are extremely hard. They could really use some different furniture on the deck since that's the best feature of the condo. They have a high table and chairs so that you can see the view over the railing but they're not all that comfortable. There was no facial tissue in the entire condo which seemed weird. We booked through VRBO but the unit is really managed by a rental company. So, your VRBO fee is really a waste of money. Too bad they can't tell you that up front. The rental company's agreement had a lot of do this or that and you'll be charged verbiage which was kind of a turnoff.

The place is good, location has ocean view is small but convenient. One thing I dislike was the neighbor leaving notes at the condo door because my dog barking .Even though I could hear other dogs barking in the building which I believe is a pet friendly spot and that was one of the reasons why we stayed here. Management was great calling to make sure everything was good so that’s a plus.

The view was absolutely stunning and Amelia Island Get Aways was a pleasure to work with. They made everything so easy and simple. They were so quick to answer any questions we had and were even prompt in getting us battery’s for a remote control. We will definitely use them in the future! Everyone who works there is so kind and considerate. The property had a gorgeous view but the condo does need some small improvements such as paint on the walls and ceiling. Plus, the patio was a little cramped with the furniture and extra items. Overall, again the view was stunning and Amelia Island Get Ways was incredible.

This was a great location. Pool and beach were easily accessible and not too crowded. Property was well maintained.

Great weekend and first beach trip for our 10 month old English cocker spaniel. Loved the location!
