Peaceful Getaway at Island of Lake Travis- Beautifully decorated- Huge patio!

Everything was perfect. Was confused before I got there because I couldn’t find any pictures of the second bed so would be best if that’s added onto the listing but I trusted it! And it was an amazing stay.

We loved this vacation rental so much!! It’s in a cool location and the condo is so perfect!! The double balcony was very cool (there is an outdoor TV and table set too). Just as described. Big details and small details were thought of. The condo’s kitchen had everything you could possibly need! Can’t wait to stay again!!

We loved this place, stayed for the weekend for a relaxing time. All the views are awesome, you should watch the sunrise and sundown. We spent a good time at the hot tub since the pool water was so cold. The kids really enjoyed feeding the deers, they are so cute, make sure to bring enough corn deer because they are always hungry. Highly recommended.

This property is excellent! We travel quite often and rent condos just about everywhere we go. This is one of the most well equipped, well managed properties we have seen in a long time. Cheri knows exactly how to host guests perfectly! The location of this particular condo is nice and the outside patio area is thoughtfully equipped and furnished. The resort itself has some nice features. We enjoyed the gym and sauna and even had a nice dinner sitting outside at the on site restaurant. Views are excellent and there are a couple of nice golf courses whithin a reasonable drive. Our only dissappointment was the pool situation: The indoor pool and hot tub were closed, which was a let down considering several of our days there were rainy. Further, one of the outdoor hot tubs was also closed/dysfunctional so it left us with only one which was always full. The two outdoor pools are NOT heated and were ice cold which is unusual for a Spring Break stay. There were only four lounge chairs at the first pool and three of them were broken. There were five lounge chairs at the second pool which were just fine. Just be sure to check the pool(s) status if that is important for your stay. The condo itself was so great that it more than made up for the incoveniences of the pool drawbacks. We would not hesitate to stay to here again. Thank you, Cheri, for your warm hospitality!

This condo was beautiful and relaxing. Very clean and well stocked with all of the necessities. The bed was super comfortable. We never made it down to the pool, but it was very close to the room on the 1st level. We were early for check in so we sat at the on site restaurant and enjoyed a few beverages. The parking garage was clean and felt safe. Cheri was a fabulous host who quickly responded to any communication.

Our stay was wonderful. Cheri’s directions were perfect, the condo was beautiful, and the balcony was great! We enjoyed walking around the resort, having a drink at sunset at the resort restaurant, and sitting on the balcony enjoying the view and breeze. The hosts provided all the extra touches that made our stay so nice. It was a great long weekend getaway.

Everything was really, really good. I am 6 ft 3 in and the bed just fit, so if you're taller than that .....

Great place and very peaceful and safe

Check in process was very stressful due to the 3rd email I didn't receive with check in process, and no one working at facility.. I had no idea of the gate code, or parking lot numbers. Then had few hurdles to jump thru to get email confirmation sent to me.Upon that everything was amazing. Fun and wonderful experience for my family and it made up for the short moment of a small heart attack that I had upon arrival. The lake and views were breathtaking.The deer made my son have an amazing memory for a lifetime.Thank you !!!!

The rain did not cooperate with our vacation, but the island is great even in bad weather. Enjoyed the indoor pool, the deer, and the condo is great and we loved it.

Family trip to Austin. Stayed in this condo for the views and some pool time. This place did not disappoint. My son’s favorite part was seeing the deer up close and getting to feed them from his hand. It was very quiet and peaceful on this property.

Everything about our stay was great. The location, the cleanliness, a lot of things are provided. It was so easy, from beginning to end. We will be returning soon. It was great watching the sunrise from the balcony. Balcony is BIG. 10/10 about everything here.

We booked this VRBO to celebrate my husbands birthday and our late daughters birthday. The property is absolutely beautiful. The pictures truly don’t do justice. The deer watching was one of my favorite experiences out of the whole trip. The views are to die for. There are blue bonnets everywhere. The indoor pool was nicely heated. The restaurant on site has amazing food and even better views if you sit on the balcony. You definitely won’t be disappointed if you choose to stay here. The hosts communication was nothing short of amazing. They were always really quick to answer any questions and provided all the information you should need to have a stress free arrival and stay! We will definitely be back!.

We had a great time at Cheri & John's place. Pictures do not do justice to the attention to detail the hosts have given to their place. Amenities are amazing. We love to return to this place in the future!

Much needed get away in a BEAUTIFUL OASIS!

The condo is gorgeous and as a decor girly it was impeccable. Unfortunately, the lake water had receded and overgrowh trees were partially blocking the balcony view but the balcony was so amazing we easily forgot about it. Property is very nice and the amenities are great too. Can't wait to book another stay. The owners has everything plus more in the condo so all you need is your clothes.

Our only complaint is that there are not a lot of eating options that are close by. Everything feels very far away. But the property itself was good, however, one of the pools was really murky and yucky. But the other was great!

Cute and clean condo on the lake!

I took my daughter and her two best friends to stay for the weekend to celebrate her birthday. The apartment has everything you need and we loved the balcony. Lots of room for four people. We had a great time exploring the property. The girls played tennis and it was so nice that the rackets and balls were provided. Great communication with the host. I will say we did not love our meal at the on-site restaurant but it's nice that there is one there.

Our stay at this property is always amazing. We have been there three times total to the condos and this was our second stay in this particular unit. Cheri is so attentive and professional in her communication. You can tell she takes pride in what she does as well as how she cares for the property. There are no details that have not been addressed there. There is more than enough supplies like kitchenware, utensils, pots and pans and condiments, as well as plenty of linens, towels, and toiletries for bathroom and bedrooms. The patio is probably one of the largest balconies on site. There are two areas to it so there is plenty of space. This outdoor space has a TV and we spent a lot of time out there hanging out playing board games and watching movies. The property has a fitness center as well as a swimming pool, hot tub and the grounds are just amazing to walk around and they have courts for Pickleball and tennis and disc golf is avail as well. I’m leaving so much out because the review is getting long, but I hope if you’re reading this, you will not wait any longer. Just go ahead and book and see for yourself. Everytime I’m there my stay gets longer because I LOVE IT. (3 days once, then 4 and this one was almost a week) Seeing all the deer and the natural beauty of the lake as well as taking walks just outside of the property and meeting some of the local neighbors are all added benefits. Several local restaurants are around as well…a 15-20 minute drive will get you there.

Booked it last minute to get away for a few days. My family really enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort this condo provides. Thank you for making our stay a memorable one. We will be back.

The condo is exactly as displayed. The Texas theme and classy upgrades made our stay pleasant and relaxing!

We had a lovely weekend on Lake Travis. The host was helpful and communicative. The property itself was good but not great. Pros: • The location of the property overlooking the lake is incredible, and the view is amazing. • The apartment was well supplied with things like coffee, dish soap, etc. • The host warned us to be careful of deer when driving to the complex. And she was not kidding. There were hundreds of them! We love seeing wildlife and did not mind driving extra slow. It was so cool to see that many deer on and around the property. Cons: • Most thing about the apartment seem a bit dated. There’s nothing terribly wrong. It just has the feel of a place that’s 20 - 30 years old and in need of some renovation. • The complex could use a store on site to buy simple things like milk, bread, cereal, etc. It’s a bit of a hike to get to the grocery store. Overall nice stay — good but not great.

The villa was great, very clean with everything you could need. The property itself was a little dirty but overall a really great place. The view from the restaurant and pool were amazing! Very communicative and kind host. Would definitely stay here again!

The property was beautiful. The lake was very low so we couldn't see the lake from the property. The porch was very nice for relaxing. The pools were nice with a great view.

Condo was beautifully decorated, wonderful balcony, great pool, super fun paddle boarding right there, tons of deer, nice and quiet... when can I come back ?

The location was ideal for us… tucked away in the Texas Hill Country and overlooking Lake Travis. Had a great time enjoying the pools and relaxing in the condo. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! The condo was exquisitely prepared and was just right for a family of 3. Summer memories made!!
