Excellent property. Clean, well appointed, and close to Grand Marais. We had beautiful views of Lake Superior and even had a bobcat walk by the patio door in the snow! The bed was so comfortable!

We had a wonderful stay. Beautiful location on the shores of Lake Superior. Hosts were responsive and welcoming. Would make a return trip for sure.

Didn’t ski so ignore one star. Nice smaller place on lake. Super noisy bc thin walls and ceilings in above and side units. Otherwise bed etc comfy.

The view was breathtaking. Very comfortable bed, too. Also the fireplace, sauna and heated floors were toasty. We spotted a baby black bear in a Northern Mountain Ash tree nearby snacking on the berries—what a treat! Everything was fantastic! It was a fabulous romantic getaway! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

It would be helpful in description to state the flight of 16 steps going down to condo. It was no clear that it was a lower level.

The property is nice, but the exterior painting project marred our stay - this was communicated to us prior to our stay - however, seeing plastic on all the windows and smelling paint was not anticipated. All that said, communication with owner was fantastic and we would stay again though. The owner did refund a partial amount of the stay. He was great to work with.

We had another great stay at Terrace Point. We love staying here when we visit Grand Marais.

If I were just reviewing the condo I would rate it 4 stars. No real complaints except for some expired food products and a hole in the door's screen that let lots of flies in until we fixed it with some packaging tape. But it's very cozy and comfortable with nice amenities. The sauna was great after we figured out how to use it. We discovered a washer and dryer hidden inside the sauna. It wasn't listed as an amenity so we weren't sure we could use it so we didn't. Would have been nice to know! The view of the lake is also wonderful. The grounds, however, leave much to be desired. There's no access to the lake for walking and no trails nearby, although that can be found within a short drive. In July there are lots of flies so be warned! There are some awesome huge rocks by the water's edge that we wanted to walk on, but the vegetation was so thick there was no way to access them. If you just want a quiet, comfy place to look at the lake and be close to Gran Marais you will like it. We wanted a bit more and were slightly disappointed.

Lovely walk-out to Lake Superior. Short drive to Grand Marais. Super comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen, nice bathroom. Parking right at the entrance. We would stay again.

The unit was very clean and easy to navigate. It was perfect for a weekend getaway and easy drive to both Lutsen and Grand Marais! Everything was new and in great shape!

Great condo - so comfortable and a great place to relax after a day of hiking and kayaking. Kitchen was well stocked with essentials and sauna was definitely an extra bonus. Bed and pillows extremely comfortable!

This makes our fifth consecutive summer at Terrace Pt, and each visit only makes us want to return. Our needs have simplified as we age. Beauty and quiet are at the top, and this spot excels in both. We also like to prepare at least half our meals on site, and this kitchen does just fine. The paved walking trail nearby meant regular exercise was handy. And the town of Grand Marais, just minutes away, is full of delights. Oh, and the weather was perfect this year as well.

Very disappointing. The property was nice and in a nice location BUT it was poorly built with no isolation. We could hear the neighbors above us all the time. We went to talk with the people above us only to find a cleaning person. I called the owner and mentioned that after two days of trying to get through it - we needed to leave or find something better. He was trying to help with asking people to be quiet and telling us the new neighbors might be quieter/better. But we had no hope as it wasn’t the people it was the house. We asked the owner for a discount or refund as we had to leave. He could not do that. We left anyway FIVE DAYS EARLY. Paid for 7 nights. We love VRBO. In almost 20 years of using VRBO for our vacation needs all over the world this was our only time to be disappointed. Dave and Karen

We love staying at Terrace Point, and this unit was no exception. Very clean with a well stocked kitchen. Comfortable bed and pillows. The location is superb- right on the lake, can walk to Cutface Creek Wayside beach and the new paved trail. Highly recommend!
