On sand!! Fort Lauderdale by the Sea Beach, Ocean Manor Resort condo-hotel Pool

Everything was great! The host, Justin, was informative and welcoming.

Convenient location, direct access to the beach.

Great spot for some beach fun. Pool, tiki bar and beach. All in one and a lovely condo to rest in. The host was equally hospitable. I would do it again!

The resort was great, food at tiki bar was delicious and drinks were good! The location is perfect . Everything was great except a little misunderstanding about beach towels .

Ocean was nice.

Two bedroom condo is a good value for your money. It's on the 5th floor of a complex that has a pool, a tiki hut / restaurant, and is right on the beach. The view from within the unit is of the front of the complex, so the parking lot. There is a small bonus area that has windows that can see the ocean but the exterior of the building is so dirty, you can hardly see through them. The pros: 1) Location -- beach was great, chairs and umbrellas are available for a fee. The pool was warm -- pool chairs are a little hard to come by as they are often reserved early. There is a McDonalds across the street for a quick McFlurry break and the fun touristy shops and restaurants are a little less than a mile north. 2) Value - for the price, the condo accomplished what we wanted. I place to land right on the beach with a pool.Cons - 1) The unit itself is tired. It didn't impact our stay necessarily, but it has obviously been rented a lot. 2) None of the air mattresses supplied stayed inflated through the night. It sleeps 7. 3) The hotel staff and beach /towel service staff were not very friendly (the waitstaff were nice though).

Nice place to stay

Justin was very detailed on what the resort offered and what the condo had onsite. Place was great to stay. Place was hopping but it was also during spring break which was great. The staff was very friendly throughout the whole resort. Would definitely book through Justin in the future.

The room was nice and the beach was right there!

Room was okay. Inflateable mattress didn’t hold the air. Fairly old building and unit. Needs updating. Tiki bar was good, location is good. One night stay before our cruise.

We loved the spot & the pool area and tiki hut were fabulous!

READ CAREFULLYPRO'sThe Host was excellent went way beyond the call of duty.The Resort is beautiful. The place was clean.CON'SREAD Carefully. I though the condo was Ocean front. The Resort itself is located on beach, but the condo is located on the back side. It states it has a balcony but it's more like a sunroom overlooking the town. The ocean view is in the small corner of the sunroom.All in all, I would rent this place again if I didn't want an ocean front condo.

Good location. Checking in and out was easy. Communication was great. The pool was ice cold and not swimmable. Being from Michigan I am used to cold water.

Pictures are inaccurate. View is of the parking lot not the ocean. We got sick from the amount of mold in the unit. Instead of fixing things properly they just band aid things. I would keep on scrolling.VRBO said we would get refunded some of our money but the host refuses. Only rent this unit if you want to get sick from mold and stay in a crappy unit.

My family of 5 had an excellent stay at The Ocean Manor Beach Resort. The condo had plenty of room for all of us to fit comfortably for 10 days. The host Justin, was very responsive to our questions/requests and the provided beach chairs and beach towels were very convenient. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. Steps from the beach and a short drive to local restaurants and shops. We will definitely visit again soon!

The location is amazing also this unit is by the elevators. Tiki bar has wonderful food over the weekend, chicken tenders, grouper bites and tacos are all great! Beach was beautiful this time of the year. Water was amazing.

Great location! Clean! Nice pool! Plenty of room for our family of 6. Will definitely plan to stay here again.

Justin was easy to communicate with and gave detailed instructions about the stay. The condo was perfect for myself, my daughter and her 3 friends (all 17 year olds) and the food at the tiki bar was great. The only issue is one of the girls is diabetic and we had some issue with bringing her outside fruit in to the beach, but after speaking with the manager, we got it worked out. That is more of a hotel policy versus the condo/Justin but wanted people to know they are pretty strict with that. Self parking or valet is 18 over night and then we stayed at the pool for the following day and had to pay another 6 for day parking..again, just letting anyone know that the hotel will charge another day if you decide to stay and enjoy the pool/beach after you check out. I would stay here again and everything was great working with Justin!!

It was really nice, Justin is very nice and super accomodating! Too bad for the rain, we will be back

Perfect location

The unit was all we needed, although it could have been a bit cleaner. There was hair in the drain and just little things that were overlooked when clean. It is just an older unit that could use some love. We still had a great time and Justin is great to work with. Super nice guy!
