Really big rooms and kitchen area, very clean and a 5 min drive to Gruene Hall

The listing is called “Old Mills Resort,” but the property signage says “Hidden Gem of Gruene.” This discrepancy wasn’t mentioned in the instructions, which made arrival confusing. The property numbers were also not visible from the parking lots, and the building didn’t match the photos shown in the listing. We tried texting and using the chat feature for help finding our room but never received a response—not even the following day.Once inside, the room itself was very clean, neat, and spacious. It was properly stocked and matched the written description. The plastic mattress covers were a bit uncomfortable and trapped heat, which affected sleep. The couch felt a little low-quality, though I understand it may need frequent replacement during peak seasons. I was also wondering what happened to the living room rug shown in the listing photos, as it wasn’t there during our stay.With clearer instructions, accurate photos, and better communication, this could be a much smoother experience.

The accommodations were exactly what was described on the web site . It was a great place to stay would definitely stay there again.

Nice large rooms. Good condition. Good location. Good instructions for TV, WiFi, checkout, etc. Need lighting at the entrance from the street. Very dark at night. Surprised to find single ply toilet paper at such a nice place.

This is the perfect spot if you want to visit all things in gruene Texas. The location is central, its road access is easy and the place is very comfortable clean! We will be back!

We only stayed for a weekend, but this would be a great choice for a longer trip as well. So much better than a hotel! The location was great for visiting Gruene and New Braunfels. We will definitely be staying again on our next visit to the area.

In town for a wedding. Perfect place for our family to stay - plenty of room for chatting, eating together, etc. Comfy beds.

This place was perfect for two couples wanting to spend the long weekend in Gruene. It was very comfortable and spacious, and the location is ideal. The only suggestion that I would make is to have some basic spices in stock like salt and pepper, garlic powder. That would have made it a little more convenient for us.

Property and condo was very clean and nice. Great location to hang out in Gruene. One minute from gruene historic district. Easy check in/out and property management was on top of checking with you via text for any needs. We will use this condo again sooner than later I hope

Enjoyed our end of summer stay! The first night (Wed) we were the only ones at the property - no other cars! We enjoyed the pool to ourselves Thursday afternoon. There were some bugs in the pool, so not sure they clean it regularly. Great location, super close to Gruene, a bit further from New Braunfels.

Rent 2 condos now started with one which helps with space, bathrooms and different bedtimes!! Great large pool for after river - awesome !
