Oceanfront Queens Grant Spectacular Views

good location. beautiful views. very long hike up the stairs to the front door. must bring own linens. nice enough, but minimal items in kitchen so visitors should plan to bring everything they need to cook (including salt, pepper, oil, etc.).

We enjoyed our beach front stay on Topsail. The condo was fine for our needs altho lugging suitcases and groceries up 3 flights of stairs was a bit much. The condo was clean but could use some updating and TLC. It's supposed to sleep 8 but there was barely enough silverware for the 4 of us. We had to keep washing spoons and forks. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed sitting out on the deck.

The condo was ok. My biggest complaint is that no where in the rental agreement does it warn you that you have to bering your own linens and paper products! I found that out two days before! I think that is information that should be disclosed before we pay! Some of the furniture is pretty worn and the kitchen was bare bones. The place was not very clean when we got there. There were ants in the bedroom eating on some cookies left under the dresser, sone food remnants left in cabinets and some of the dishes and pans were dirty when we took them out of the cabinets. Old coffee grounds left in the coffee maker, yuk. I had young grandchildren with me so I didn’t feel too good about it. I don’t like having to clean on my vacation. I never got any check out instructions from the owner so we took out the garbage and recycle and tried to leave it better than we found it.

It was clean and as-advertised, with no trouble checking in or communicating with owners. It’s on the third floor with no elevator, so this would not be a good choice for the elderly/disabled. One of the bedside lamps in the master bedroom didn’t work and the handle of the door from the master to the balcony is broken, but other than that, it was as-advertised, cleanly, and an easy stay. It’s a safe, clean, quiet neighborhood, which was what we were looking for. If you want nightlife and a ton of activities, though, Topsail isn’t for you.

Fantastic location, Fantastic condo, we really enjoyed the trip. This was the best for a relaxing low key beach vacation. Everything worked well and was in good condition. The host was very pleasant and responsive.

The property was very nice, large and clean. We wish there would have been an elevator or lift for your luggage and things. That’s what you can expect from an older facility. On that side of the island driving into surf city between 3:30 pm and 7:00 pm expect to sit in traffic for around an hour.

We loved this property. Exactly as expected based on photos and communication. It's very quiet here which is what we were hoping for. We loved the beach itself and having access to the pool for when the rip current warnings were out. I must say that of all the places we have ever stayed, this by far had the most amazing view sitting on the balcony. Lloyd was amazing and we will definitely rent from him again.

Unit has lots of space to spread out with breathtaking views of the beach. A great view from each bedroom and family room! A nice 1.5 mike walk or jog for great restaurants and ice cream. Owner is very accommodating, nice and fast in communication throughout your stay. Willing to send help as needed for supplies or help. Did find front bedrooms lacking in storage areas. Kitchen is stocked with anything you need. Cleaning company was changed due to the new company’s lack in a thorough cleaning. This has since been changed to a better service! Owner is very considerate in tending to all your needs to make for a great place to come back again. I would recommend renting with this owner again. Thank you Lloyd for all you did for us!:)
