Literally steps to the beach! Very clean. Manager answered questions quickly. A quick getaway for us and the place was perfect for two people.

The perfect place for rest and relaxation! The decor provides and atmosphere of calming. The location provides quiet. The furnishings are very comfortable. Enjoyed wonderful rest which was exactly what we needed.

The view is outstanding. I've lived and rented at the NC beaches for 60 years--this is the best view. Amenities were exactly as stated or even better--updated appliances and bathroom fixtures. very quiet. would highly recommend. right beside Fort Fisher which provides walking trails and entertainment. The host was very responsive to all questions. I'm planning another trip in the spring.

Watching sunrises over the ocean from the comfort of the private deck is the best. I love the location and the condo was clean and well furnished. The walk to Fort Fisher monument and beyond was ideal.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The suggestions in things to do and restaurants vert helpful and appreciated. Hurricane Erin was off the coast and while it didn’t affect the weather, the surges were. James was kind and reassuring to be sure we mountain dwellers were comfortable with the seas

Unit was in a good location. Clean. Renovated. Literally right on the water. Only caution for the beach area is there are a lot of rocks in the water from mid to low tide and no lifeguards. But still really enjoyed the unit and the area.

I don’t have anything negative to say about this property. Location was amazing, close enough to downtown Kure beach but far enough away that the beach was fairly empty and peaceful. Location is as advertised, we could basically touch the water at high tide (but could sit on the balcony without getting wet). Very comfortable king bed in the master. Did not sleep on the bunk beds so cannot speak to them though. Unit was very clean as well.

This condo exceeded all of our expectations. It was clean, nicely updated, well-supplied and offered a front row view of the ocean from the deck. Beautiful walking areas in Ft Fisher are just steps away. Highly recommended!

This condo is at the end of the beach and close to the walking/bike trail leading to Ft Fisher and the aquarium. (Note - you have to get on the road at points to do this.) It is peaceful and the condo is bright and cute, with a comfy king bed and bunks for the kids. The owner is easy to deal with and quick to respond and the place was very clean upon arrival. The beach in front of the condo is narrow but a very quick walk takes you a few steps down to a wider place to sit and put up an umbrella. There are lots of shells for the kids to find and the ocean is beautiful here. This was a perfect off-season rental and I'm sure it would be great in the summer, as well.

We had a wonderful stay! Despite the turn in the weather. You just can’t beat the view and the sound of the ocean just outside your doors! It was a very comfortable and relaxing experience. First time we visited Kure Beach, NC. The visitor center just up the road was a great experience! Informative and a beautiful historical location.

Exactly as pictured - exceptionally maintained and clean - appreciate that there is no clutter!! Quiet location with all amenities needed for adults. Comfortable bed!! Restaurants suggested by James are always spot on. Thank you for the hospitality..,

We had a great time in this oasis on the beach! It was a king tide and full moon, so it was a literal oven front room. It was comfortable and we didn’t want to leave!

This was our fourth time staying at this condo. It is perfectly located, quiet, and right on the ocean. Always blessed by it!

My husband and I absolutely love staying at the The Riggings whenever we can. This was our first time in this specific unit and it was absolutely amazing. The water is so close and the shelling is so good. My husband actually found a fossilized great white tooth 10 minutes into day one. If you’re after Calico’s this is the place to be they practically wash up to your feet. Will stay again asap.

Perfect condo for a get away beachfront.

This was a needed vacation for us it’s been a rough few years this is the perfect stop to relax unwind and enjoy. So clean and on the water.

This is our second stay at this property. Very clean and well-stocked. Beautifully decorated and very communicative and helpful property owner.

We've stayed at The Riggings for nine of our eleven visits to Kure/Carolina Beach, and this unit was, by far, my favorite! It was nicely furnished and the extras, like detergents, soaps, paper goods, etc. were an added plus. It truly made traveling and being away from home an easy escape for the week. I ran into an issue with a blown fuse, as predicted by James, but he was quickly available to assist, and we were able to work through it in just a few minutes. The only complaint one may have is the big water bugs. I know units at the beach are treated for bugs regularly and bugs are a common occurrance, but it's still creepy to turn on a light and see something scurry across the floor or counter. My son wasn't happy with that, but I was able to squish them on the floor or grab them in a paper towel and dispose of them. Next time, I'll charge them rent! It was a wonderful week at our favorite place. I'm hoping the unit is available again next year. **Suggestion: Maybe supply a deck of cards, a couple of board games, or a puzzle for guests to use on rainy days. Just a thought.**
