    Icemaker didn't work, the door wall didn't work, and the window didn't open. I have seen butter furnace kitchens in college apartments in the 1970s. There wasn't a single piece furniture in this place that was from the 21st century! Whatever you do, avoid this rental!

    Great location right on the beach. Staff at Peace Vacations goes above and beyond to assist. All furniture needs replacing (Worn out and shot, musty smell). Location makes up for this though!

    The condo appears to have had no upgrade effort over the multiple years that we have stayed there. This year the bar ice maker was shut down when we arrived. There were very few drink glasses in the unit. Fortunately, Peace Vacations made a quick run and purchase 8 tall and 8 short glasses. The repairman for the ice maker arrived on time but had to order spare parts which will arrive much after we have left. Again, with the assistance of Peach Vacations, we were able to locate a nicer condo in the same complex for the same week that we are able to bring our children and their children for the same week in the same unit. Being near both other families is a precious gift for us. We all look forward to utilizing the other condo next year...and for many more years thereafter.

    This is the third year in a row that we have rented Villa D'Amore. My family has been going to Debordieu for 50 years. We are some of the originals Wallace Pate attracted. We rent this unit because we have overflow of family as our family members in total own 5 units in Pioneer Place. The view is one of the best at Debordieu. Our concerns/complaints about the place are several. The unit is not fully stocked. The wine glasses that are there we bought 2 summers ago and left them. There is very little up to date kitchen items(Insufficient glassware). The mattress in the master bedroom is uncomfortable and very old. Most of the under kitchen counter lights don't work. All fabrics in the main living area are not just slightly soiled but highly soiled. The broken window in the dinning area has been broken for 3 years. The sliding glass door on the front is very difficult to open and close. We had the same issue in our unit and repairs can be made. I am surprised the unit meets the rental standards.

    While this condo was convenient to the beach with great views, it is in need of attention. The unit is extremely dated and the kitchen is in need of a least bowls for preparing food. The pantry was strangely bolted shut from the inside on one side only. Maybe this is where the food prep items were hiding. Also, the pool was completely empty of water during our entire stay. I would suggest checking out other units for booking.

    my wife and I have stayed at Villa D'amore at least 7 times.we will not go back for the following reasons: the tv in the master bedroom does not work the patio is falling apart the furniture is nasty the tile floors stain your feet sliding doors are opaque the ice maker does not work the front door is difficult to open

    We love this little condo for our May trip. I'm curious why there were no beach towels for us this time, as there have always been beach towels. Also, there wasn't a single hanger in the whole house this trip. Nevertheless, we have a great time!

    Condo sits right on the beach with wonderful and peaceful views/sounds of the Atlantic Ocean. The location was absolutely perfect! The one thing I would do to make this Condo better was to replace the sliding glass door that looks out to the ocean. The window panes of the glass were foggy and the door is old. A clearer view of the ocean/outside is a must with this wonderful location. Once that is done I would give it a rating of Excellent vs good.

    Needs more fresh air. Windows & sliding glass door don’t open. No screens on windows. Musty smell. Location is great. 1 roll of paper towels (quality brand) & 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 combo shampoo/body wash, soap and conditioner included for each bathroom. NO tissues..

    Great location. Excellent pool. Villa needs updating and attention to details. Minor repairs needed in baths; furnishings are old and outdated. Masters bedroom needs new mattress, pillows and bedding. Overdue for refreshing.

    Pros - GREAT location! This is why we have stayed here repeated times. The only 2 bedroom on the beach. Cons - Furnishings and kitchen are old, dated and not in good condition. Door access to the patio is in poor working order. There is no longer a table to go with the chairs on the patio. There are no platters or necessary items for having guests over. I have mentioned these concerns in years prior and no changes have ever been made. The location and size have brought us back here several years. This unit has a corner on the market in those two respects. But the location is probably the best in DeBordieu!

    the sliding door was insanely hard to open and close. It had a foggy appearance making the view out to the ocean hard to see. The outside sitting area was cracked and falling apart. Things seemed in disrepair.

    The rental agency Peace Vacations did a great job and responded quickly to any issues. DeBordieu is the most wonderful family vacation. Quiet, friendly, beach is not crowded like so many other places. The 2 bedroom condo we had was well equipped, good bed and linens. We had a wonderful, much needed, relaxing week.
