Oceanfront, dog-friendly condo with sunset view & prime walkable location

Our stay was very comfortable. The condo is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and has an amazing ocean view—you can even hear the waves from inside! I would definitely recommend this place. Just be aware that if you plan to cook, you’ll need to bring your own cooking oil, seasonings, condiments, etc. It would also be helpful if the hosts provided aluminum foil for oven use. Other than that, the condo itself is great, and I would happily stay here again.

We booked a two-night stay in Ocean Shores hoping for a relaxing getaway from the Olympia heat, but unfortunately, our experience turned out to be anything but relaxing. From the start, we had trouble even getting into the condo. The lock instructions were unclear, and after a long day of travel with our dog, we had to spend about an hour figuring out how to unlock the door. A simple note on how the lock worked would have saved us a lot of frustration.Once inside, we found that the condo was lacking a lot of the basics it promised. There were no toiletries, no extra sheets or blankets for the second sleeping area, not an ounce of coffee for the morning, and no firewood for the fireplace. The bed was extremely uncomfortable with scratchy, low-quality sheets, and we barely got any sleep. On top of that, the TV took ages to start up, the cable went out, andthe condo was on a third floor with no elevator, which would be a big problem for anyone with mobility issues.The one positive was the view of the ocean from the balcony, but it didn’t make up for the overall disappointment. In the end, we decided not to stay the second night. It’s also worth noting that this rental was managed by a third party, and it felt like no one had a personal stake in making sure the place was comfortable. Communication was poor, and it just wasn’t worth the money.Overall, I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place and frankly, looking for a different vacation spot entirely.

Nice walk to the Beach

My first booking and I did not ask about a lift/elevator - we are old and walk with difficulty. The place was beautifully decorated but needs a new range/oven and dishwasher (to noisy to run while you are there. Could not contact property manager to answer questions. Four light bulbs were out. Bathroom sink rusty and needs to be replaced. Outside needs paint and tlc.

First impressions of the condo was that it smelled. Kind of a mixture of musty and something sour. We tried to communicate with the property manager via the instant chat ... got through however they did not follow through with what they said they would do. The WIFI didn't work well enough to stream. The bed was very uncomfortable... an old mattress wilh a couple of mattress toppers. We made it through the entire time but it would have been much more comfortable with nicer place....
