Oceanfront condo with large wraparound deck, expansive views, pools & gym

This condo was just like being in the comfort of your home, but better. The view was spectacular, the beds and furnishings extremely comfortable and the location very convenient. You need to eat at the Jose Tequila restaurant on the premises. We had dinner there 3 times and could enjoy an alcoholic drink because no driving was necessary. I could not recommend this property any more enthusiastically!

My family has gone to The Sanctuary for over ten years. Since Vacasa took over property management, there has been a steep descent into shabbiness. The property is not well maintained anymore, it is run down. The pool is regularly dirty, the balcony was covered in spider webs, the room was not well cleaned. We’re so disappointed because we love this place, but it’s hard to justify going back.

This property was PERFECT for us! My brother's family from NC and my family from PA met here for vacation and it was wonderful. The beach wasn't overcrowded and the views were great.

The unit wasn’t clean and this is after our stay was cut short due to cleaning staffing issues. There is mold growing in some areas of the unit, fingerprints on mirrors and doors, the garbage disposal was broken and never fixed during our stay because a work ticket was never created for the repair. The carpets and rugs need a deep clean or replaced. I still haven’t received a refund for the cleaning fee I paid for. The unit wasn’t fully cleaned. I have photos to prove this.

The location and layout of the place was great. Plenty of room for the whole family. Vacasa is simply terrible. Outside of changing the sheets and providing towels our place was not clean. There was pink mold all through the showers. The toilets had black mold stains. The freezer was filled with sand and there was dirt all through the refrigerator. The place also was not slept. When we complained we were told local support would reach out. This never happened. After trying to get this resolved 4 separate times I gave up. I’ll never rent from Vacasa again as they do not care and you only speak with someone not based in Sandbridge. They never cared to resolve my issues. Use a different company in Sandbridge.

Loved the large direct ocean view, the 4 bedrooms and baths were great for the size of our group. While there was plenty of seating, not very user friendly, all very low to the ground. Even though all bathtubs were a high step, no grab bars to get in and out safely.

Pros : location of unit, amenities in unit, decor of unit. Owners provide all laundry & dishwasher detergents. Con : the unit was filthy when arrived. Long black dog hair everywhere, even though this unit was supposed to be no dogs - which is why we rented it. Vacuum didn’t work to clean up said dog hair even after maintenance tried to fix it, so I was forced to purchase my own and use it through the week for sand and all the dog hair. The kitchen sink and silicon drying rack had brown stains when we arrived, which I cleaned off easily - so it just clearly never gets cleaned. The front load washer was full of mold, another item I had to maintenance & clean in order to use. Black dog hair was also in the fridge which I needed to wipe out. I called housekeeping within an hour of arriving and they were already closed and never received a call back. I like the building location, but won’t be renting this unit again. I always anticipate having to clean throughout our weeks I’m a condo with small children and sand, but to arrive to a unit full of dog hair with no workout vacuum that was supposed to not allow dogs is just unacceptable.
