Oceanfront condo with 2 balconies, beach views, W/D & pool & gym

Great property

Amazing stay! We'll be back!

The condo was very nice and the location was great. A few small things: it rained every day and stormed with high winds. Water blew in onto the floor from the ocean facing sliding door. The door lock mechanism broke off the sliding door from the living room out to the larger balcony. There was trash in a bathroom trash can and one of the commodes had not been flushed. For four adults utilizing all three bathrooms, there was not enough toilet paper at just one roll per bathroom. We did not realize that there were no extra rolls until we needed them on the last night.Had we gotten any sunshine at all it might have made these issues seem small.

Pros - Unit has great location next to one of the 3 pools and close to bbq area. -Right on the BEACH! -Reserved Parking in garage. -Easy access to the Beach - 1 floor down. -Lots of room in the unit to hang out with family and friends -Kitchen had just about everything you would need. -Pretty quiet property -down by pier there were some nights with entertainment. Cons - Nothing was show stopping or preventing me from booking again. -pretty quiet property by relaxing -only one of the showers/water faucets at the beach / pool access area was working to rinse sand off. -no luggage carts to help load / unload luggage. -elevators stopped working a couple times -Unit was a little dated but worked just fine for my group. -Main balcony had the air conditioning unit which was loud and it blowing hot air. Also needed to be sprayed for spiders multiple times throughout the stay. (bring spray). -Pool Bar needs to be open! -Definitely connect to wifi, you won't have service without it, if you need your phone/internet ;) Overall, the complex needs a little TLC but worked great for my group. 5 mins from market/store, 20-25 mins from main area of stores and restaurants. 25-30 mins from heart of Virginia Beach.

While the location itself and of the unit are fabulous, it was sad for us to see the overall appearance of the facility go downhill. We stayed at the Sanctuary about 3 years prior and had no complaints. The property is quite obviously not being maintained- needs a good power washing for outdoor areas. The stairways smelled like urine and they are in dire need of an exterminator - there are spiders EVERYWHERE. Also not shown anywhere in the listing is that the outdoor bar with swim up pool is not operating. The building itself was left closed, and has been for years apparently. The unit itself had everything we needed but appeared to have not been cleaned well in a very long time. There was garbage under the bed in the kids room, debris under the furniture, the kitchen and bath surfaces had not even been wiped down- we know becuase we bought cleaning supplies and did it ourselves. Living room furniture was dusty. The dishwasher was full and had not been emptied and there were spider webs in all of the corners of the unit. While they did send someone to vaccum the spider webs the unit was quite obviously let go and in desperate need of a deep clean. In addition the exhaust fan in bath for the second bedroom does not work which made the room quite warm after showering even with the bathroom door open. In the kitchen we discovered a leak under the sink that someone had put a pot under to catch water. This leak got worse during our stay and eventually the kitchen floor was flooded with water. They did come to fix it but obviously slacked on the repair previously. It’s a shame that whoever is responsible for maintenance at this property is not doing their job. The location is so perfect it’s sad to see it go downhill. Ultimately while we enjoyed our vacation and the beach is beautiful. Vacasa needs to consider a revamp of whomever is maintaining this property. Unfortunately we would not stay again based on this experience.

Very great location with two beachfront balconies. It was clean and the layout was very functional. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We loved this property and location. It was perfect for us.

The condo was well equipped and clean. The views and closeness of the beach was excellent. Being early spring there were few visitors and traffic. The only drawback was thr Wi-Fi/ cellphone service is real weak, and the foot wash stations by the beach were not turned on. The perfect vacation spot.

The condominium had an amazing location with a beautiful view of the sunset and beach! Large three bedroom three bath with very convenient parking. The office staff was great as well during check-in and checkout. Highly recommend.

Location excellent, beautiful beach, wonderful space and 3 sofa seating for family, large dining table and beautiful sunrises.

Our family of 6 had a wonderful time at this property and it really felt like a home away from home. Very spacious and had all the conveniences we needed. We stayed in the middle of September, so it was even quieter around there, which we really enjoyed. The Baja just across the street was a great place for dinner and even our kids loved the food there. We certainly plan to come back to this place in the future.

Condo itself is beautiful and a great location / views. Mexican restaurant is also fantastic. I was upset with the state of the actual complex property itself. Need some real TLC and no pool bar, as listed.

The views were incredible and it’s close to the pool. Location is also close to the stairs and elevator. Very run down and needs love and a good cleaning.
