Oceanfront condo w/incredible beach views, shared outdoor pool, gym, & A/C

Beautiful condo and location however the condo is in need of some TLC. The front room carpets need replacing and the bathrooms were not very clean. There was a sewage smell when we arrived and it took about a day to air it out. But really with a better cleaning job the place would be amazing. Also the gym was closed for repairs and the few days it was opened we were not given a pass.

We really enjoyed this location and rental unit for our first trip to Sandbridge Beach. The master bed/bath are enormous and the main kitchen/dining/living area is very open and accommodated our group of 7 nicely. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking several breakfasts/dinners. The carpeting in the living and master bath seemed brand new. The unit was one of the cleanest upon arrival of the many beach places we have rented along the east coast. We would definitely return to this unit again in the future. A word of caution...there is no cable TV provided...you must stream using your own streaming accounts. That was a little bit of a bummer as our sports family would have enjoyed watching NHL/NBA finals in the evening and the start of the US Open. But we still loved the unit, the ocean view, the proximity to the beach and the local market across the street. And the common area pool was great too.

Overall had a great stay. The condo was very nice and clean. It actually looks bigger in person than in the pictures. The only (minor) con was I would recommend bringing your own streaming stick because one of the tvs doesn't have streaming capabilities. Otherwise it was a really nice and well stocked place to stay. I would stay again, our family had a great time.

This property is beautiful, comfortable, and accommodated every need. The property is very secure and the check-in staff and housekeeping staff we encountered while coming/going were all very pleasant and friendly. We would definitely book this condo again if visiting the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely beach themed condo. Lots of room for 4 adults and one child. Kitchen is well stocked. Beds are comfortable. Blackout curtains would help with pool side security lights. Market is nearby. Beach access is across the street. Enjoyed our vacation there.

The Salty Mermaid far exceeded our expectations! We planned a visit to celebrate my wife's birthday with our kids & granddaughter and worked through Vacasa to select the Salty Mermaid as our place to stay. Prior to arrival all Vacasa employees were friendly and great to work with. As we walked into the Condo for the first time, we were blown away by the size, decor, and cleanliness! Booking online and making a decision based on photos and descriptions can be scary, but the Salty Mermaid took all stress away. The condo is stocked with any cooking and serving item you would need during your stay. The rooms are spacious and furniture comfortable. The balcony looking over the ocean is so relaxing! We also enjoyed the multiple levels of security needed to access the parking garage and elevator, which created a safe place. During our stay everything went smoothly and only had a minor glitch with the internet, which was quickly resolved and with operating the digital lock on the front door (user error). The maintenance team of Brian and Kenneth who assisted were friendly/knowledgeable and quickly assisted us to resolve any issues. I can't say enough positives about The Salty Mermaid and Vacasa on this visit. We will definitely return to The Salty Mermaid.

Our stay was lovely--very comfortable living room for talking and watching movies, beds comfortable, beach views great. We'll be back!

The condo was clean and fresh and nicely decorated. Especially noteworthy is the kitchen - most well stocked utensil selection I’ve seen in a home rental, which was important as we were visiting family and helping with Thanksgiving meals. Will definitely stay again when I am visiting family.

Great Sandbridge location. Exceptionally clean. Well stocked kitchen with everything a cook would need. Great wifi.
