☀️ Oceanfront Condo | Southern Balcony | Heated Beachfront Pool & Garage Parking

The condo was clean. They washed the sheets in a product that was very perfumed. I had to rewash them twice to remove the smell. They told me NOT TO TOUCH THE HURRICAN SHUTTERS. they were not properly locked down when we arrived, we discovered on the night of gale force winds, when they banged and creaked ALL NIGHT. That was 2 nights of lost sleep. The mattress in the guest bedroom is soft and creaky. We were a family of five. There were 4 forks and 4 spoons. I picked up a set of 4 at Walmart and left them there. You're welcome. There were 8 dinner plates. For a place advertised for 6 that does not cover breakfast and dinner. The building elevator is slow. OK. But when you check out, give yourself extra time because they remotely lock your door at 10 a.m. You need that key fob to make trips back and forth to the car and need to return the fob at the end. I had to call the Vacay Office and have them unlock it remotely to return the fob. If you are headed for an airport plan for that. I enjoyed my vacation, because I roll with what is. But I feel that Vacay does not rise to the same standard that they ask of the guests.

The beach view was beautiful and the unit was nicely furnished. Unfortunately they were having some maintenance issues and the AC was broken. They had temporary units in all of the rooms. This blocked access to the door to the balcony from the primary, blocked the side of the bed in the second bedroom and the one in the living room was literally secured with cardboard and packing tape. It rained and of course leaked all over the floor. The Florida Vacay team was very responsive, but given how strict the contract terms were and all of the undisclosed insurance costs or security deposits I was not happy to deal with all of that. They also had construction above us ongoing all day on our last day which was awful. I understand things are going to happen, but at minimum the AC issue should have been disclosed and alternatives offered. Also note very minimal supplies provided (2 trash bags for a week, no tissues, minimal toilet paper, etc.)

This is our 3rd year at The Ormandy, and the 2nd in D-8. Such a great place to relax and enjoy the beach!

Great place to spend family time while visiting our Embry Riddle student. We were able to cook our Thanksgiving dinner and enjoyed dining on the deck. It had everything we needed.

Great views, location and security of property.

The condo was amazing! It had all that we needed including fantastic views! Everyone we met were friendly and welcoming! This was our first time in Ormond Beach and although the weather didn’t cooperate, it was a great trip!
