The online photos do not do The Taj justice! Everything exceeded my expectations...a five star experience...the service is outstanding. The views are stunning...the beach and pool setting were perfect for my family. This is a luxury boutique hotel that checked all the boxes: close to great food, spa, shopping and always an open lounge chair available beach and poolside. The service and views are what make this place stand out.

From the moment we stepped into our condo hotel rental we began a perfect vacation experience. Directly on the beach, favorite features include spacious rooms that are casual yet elegant and super clean and comfortable. TVs are in each room and was a special treat. The property service is excellent and includes a restaurant that can deliver either to your beach lounge chair or to your room—or enjoy tables alongside the beachfront. Your umbrella is adjusted to your liking while lounging. Daily housekeeping with varying levels of service keep everything neat and tidy. Knowledgeable staff was available for setting up day trips—we visited Tulum. Daily massages are just steps away, also on the beach. With so many international restaurants a short walk away, you may not need to cook in the fully equipped kitchen. But if you choose to, it is ready for you. Playa del Carmen has a very safe feel to it, with Police SUVs patrolling the tourist areas with their blue lights. I had no fears for safety whatsoever. But beyond the physical attributes, it was the warmth and helpfulness of the host Laura that truly made our vacation memorable. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, offering tips and advice that allowed us to explore Playa del Carmen like locals. Our pickleball ladies went to playa de carmen for five nights. we stayed at el taj. it was fabulous. everything about el taj was so very nice. the rooms were spacious and always kept clean. the staff was so friendly and they were always available to help when needed. el taj is within walking distance to great restaurants. add this place to your list and give it a try.

Fabulous propery. Well maintained. Condos are beautiful. Great views and location. Food phenomenal multiple varieties. Staff goes above and beyond. Numerous options for activities. Wonderful vacation, a great memory!!

A group of my friends planned a getaway to Playa and we had a blast! Our accommodations were fantastic! Comfortable, clean, & location were great! Every amenity you could ask for! The ocean view provided beautiful sunrises & sunsets. The personnel were friendly and extremely accommodating. Relaxing in the comfy chaise lounges, the view of the water & the incredible service made memories we will never forget!!! We could walk to the best restaurants and the shopping was awesome! We will definitely come back and be happy to rent this amazing condo!!

It’s a great condo with an amazing ocean view from the living room as shown on the pictures, I loved that it has 2 balconies with lots of natural light, during my stay had to make some meeting calls and had no problem with wifi connection. All the staff was very friendly and always available to help us, whether we needed a dinner reservation or to book us a tour. Had breakfast at the beach club just downstairs and it was nice although the beach has some boats parked in-front we just swim passed them and its perfect. I have to say this condo was perfect for us, the location is right on downtown and everything is on walking distance.
