The Space:

Come get your surf and sun at Seabiscuit, where you can slow down your pace and relax in comfort in this bright, beautiful beach condo! Just an elevator ride downstairs and you can lounge beside the sparkling pool or have your toes in the sand. You'll feel at ease from the moment you walk through the door. Enjoy the ocean views from the sunny open kitchen through to the family room and the primary bedrooms, right out onto the wide, sunny balcony. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with all the small appliances, cookware, and serving dishes you'll need, offering granite countertops and full-size appliances. There's seating for everyone between the dining room table and the breakfast bar, or gather on the balcony and enjoy a meal with the sounds of the surf and an ocean breeze. Prefer to grill up some surf-and-turf Head downstairs and you'll find charcoal grilling stations near the pool. Outdoor showers are also found on the oceanside of the building, so it's a cinch to rinse off before you head back inside or back to the pool. After a long day on the beach, retreat to the spacious primary bedroom, offering a comfortable queen-size bed, beautiful views, private access to the balcony, a walk-in closet, a flatscreen TV, and an extra-large bathroom featuring a deep jetted tub, a separate shower, and a granite double vanity. The other two bedrooms are equally comfortable, both with queen-size beds, ample closet space, and flatscreen cable TVs. Want to get out and have a little fun Within a very short walking distance, you can shop at the Sandbridge Market, grab subs or ice cream at Zero's and Ben & Jerry's, or enjoy the Sandbridge gift shop. Take a drive down Sandpiper and you'll find Back Bay Wildlife Refuge with its untouched giant sand dunes, bald eagles, turtles, herons, foxes, and a spot to fish or put your kayak in. You can also take the tram and tour First Landing State Park, where English colonists first settled in 1607. The Sandbridge fishing pier is also at the south end of Sandpiper, near Little Island Park, featuring covered picnic areas, a big playground, and the historic Sandbridge Coast Guard Station, originally built in 1925. We highly recommend this condo. It’s a short walk to the beach, Sandbridge market and some great restaurants and shops. It is spacious and very comfortable. We loved the balcony. You could watch the waves at the beach and then could watch the fun at the market as well. The pool area was a great alternative to the beach and was very well maintained. Overall a great place for a family vacation!

We loved the spacious floor plan. I would recommend this condo and Sandbridge in general to others wanting to visit Virginia Beach.

Had a few issues for management but nothing negative to report here. View was way better than we thought and kitchen was nicely stocked. Was comfortable and may stay here again and if the price is right.

Everything was very nice. No issues except the door lock on entrance to the condo needs to be Replaced. It was not an easy lock to open. A coded lock would be much better.

Overall, this is a great location with access to the beach. There were cleaning/maintenance issues. We were picked up by two friends who live about 2 hours from the condo location. My friend was driving an electric vehicle and even though the HOA board has signs posted everywhere at the property, there is no mention in the VRBO listing that electric vehicles are forbidden from parking in the reserved parking area of the garage. We received a nasty note on the car the first day about moving the electric vehicle or it would be towed. The keys to open the front door do not work very well and the combination lock is also not working. There was a strong smell of trash. When we walked in there was a bed spread in a large plastic bag on the floor that belonged to the half-made bed, the trash was overflowing in the kitchen and the fridge reeked of fish (fish bait?). There was a large piece of plastic wedged in the garbage disposal, used coffee pods in coffee maker and food crusted on most of the dishes we used (had to hand wash everything before use). On top of all that, the toilet (non-master) was not re-filling with water. Property management came out to take the trash away and fix the toilet. The toilet worked 50% of the time we were there and the other half we had to lift the tank lid and mess with the inside guts. Lifting the toilet lid and playing plumber every other time is no fun. The floors of the condo had hair and sand on them. I did receive a call from someone at the property management company, but when I returned the call, it went straight to voicemail. I left a message. I never heard back from them. The place has a nice patio area and easy to walk to restaurants, etc. Our issues were with the cleanliness of the condo. The place itself was nice.

I rented 2 condos the week of August 6, 2022. The Seabiscuit Unit was decorated beautiful, the beds were very comfortable, it was very spacious and the kitchen was fully equipped including Keurig coffee maker. The location was perfect, the beach was beautiful not over crowded and had had lifeguards. the pool was perfect for my grandchildren. We had a very enjoyable week at SEABISCUIT.
