Accommodations were wonderful. The Unit was clean and well equipped. We had more than enough room for family. Host was quick to respond to questions. Check in and check out we’re very smooth.
Cabin was quiet away from main roads. Nice people all the way around from the management to other families on sight. Cabins are very spacious for multiple families and or people.
A clean, neat, well arranged property. The bedrooms and loft made for comfortable sleeping, while the kitchen is well equipped and cozy. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We enjoyed our four-day stay at Timberline. Although we didn't have a chance to meet with a property manager, we thought our place was well-maintained and clean. It's close to Seneca Rocks (our primary destination), Dolly Sods, Smoke Hole Cavern, and Blackwater Falls. Since the property has a kitchen, a laundry facility, a grill, and a brazier, it's better than staying at a hotel. We recommend this property for a family. One caveat is that the attic was too warm to sleep comfortably. I wonder how people can sleep in the summer.
Great location. Fully equipped kitchen. Clean and and well maintained.
Very clean and nicely decorated.! Great location for ski in/ski out and a short walk to the lodge. Loved the cubby holes under the steps to place ski gear and shelf to sit on to put on your ski boots. The living room furniture / sectional was nice and very supportive. Kitchen had most everything you would need. Although if you need a deep saute' pan / skillet or a crock pot you may want to bring (which I did). Just addressing internet service because of a previous post. We used a different Wi-Fi network than was listed in the folder for this unit as that one did not appear as a selection. Service was sketchy at times - but you are in the mountains and that is to be expected. Sometimes we just needed to reboot the connection. Members of our party had different carriers and certain ones worked better than others. My Verizon with Straight Talk was sketchy with internet service and I was unable to make phone calls. AT&T and T-Mobile seemed to work best. Although some others with Verizon did not have too much trouble - so it may depend on who your carrier is. We would stay here again.
The listing lived up to our expectations! The property, its condition, location, amenities, plus the responsiveness of the management company were all excellent.
Very nice location, if you want somewhere close to the slope this would be the place. But it is a good location to the falls. Only problem was there was no TV, which was ok this time around, since we were only there 2 night and was out most of the day. We would book through them again.
Company and location were great. Most of the ceiling was missing from upstairs. We were not told. Place was nice other than that.
Let me first say I feel sorry for the owner of this property. ITS super cute, very nice and very clean lots of the features looks like new such as carpet, beautiful LVT flooring and bathroom upgrades. Where this all went south was on DAY 1 I advised their Management company that the internet and satellite was not working the satellite is the TV. The internet was very in and out so it was hard to send emails or even your cell phone functions that needed internet. As for the cable/satellite it NEVER worked the entire stay. I was immediately told this was an ACT of GOD, and they were not responsible and had no clue as to when it would be fixed. I actually had to call the company that handles the actual satellite to get any answers. I was on emails, left messages no one EVER called me back from the management company they only sent emails that said nothing. I was told on Wednesday the 4th day of our trip t hat the satellite company was on site to make the repairs,, to no avail NOTHING happened and we spent the entire trip with NO TV. If you have EVER been in Canaan Valley its a beautiful mountain get away. My sister and I stayed only because our father is very ill and was staying in a hospital 30 miles away to come back to the condo every night knowing we could not get TV was a real issue for us both. It would have been different had the internet been realiable but even to stream from your phone to the set was totally impossible. SAD SAD. Then I was told they were giving me a credit for the inconvience. NOW, I stayed a week and the cost was not cheap they gave me a credit that was next to nothing. We would have stayed someplace else or cancelled the reservation had we known this and they just did not give a crap. When they knew this was an issue they should have offered us another rental but nope try to get a return call that was never going to happen. If the owner of the property is reading this I truly feel you need to find another company if anything happens in your place the attitude of lack of care from that company was unreal. I have more to tell on this story as I was lied to and found that out from the company that manages the actual condo assocation so all in all the condo is CUTE real CUTE clean and very quiet but if you want internet and TV good luck. They may fix it before someone else moves in ??? But thats on you I told you.
