Excellent location, the unit has everything you need, and you can easily walk to the lift and lodge. The baseboard heat isn't the greatest, I'd recommend slippers and something warm to lounge in if staying in the winter.

The condo was comfortable, clean, convenient, just perfect for our short stay. I appreciate owners who are willing to be pet friendly, it allows us the convenience of having our family member with us while traveling. N/A

This is basically better than an exact slopeside rental because it is literally just a few EASY steps from the bottom of the slope and offers more privacy and quiet! We did a mid-week stay (we do that often to avoid crowds) and with 2 well-traveled and non-barking dogs who also love adventures. The Wifi is strong enough for us to work, play, work, play, repeat. We love family ski/board time, cooking our own food, playing board games, getting a nice fire going and just coming and going all day from the slopes. Plenty of space and privacy in the loft for our adult son, too (he works weekends overnight so it was great he wanted to come mid-week).We will alway come back her (I think 4 people comfortable, but really could sleep 8). There is only one bathroom but that is not an issue, really.Pros? Amazing location to Timberline Ski Resort, WV. Great water pressure and nice and hot. Yes, literally just a few steps, felt cozy, had absolutely everything we needed (except a dish sponge) and pet friendly.Cons? Hardly any-could use some updating (fresh wall paint/decor/cleaner newer kitchen pots and pans).Perfect for families to let kids go back and forth from slopes alone to rest, eat or chill.GO!

We are retired military and a mental health therapist but still work online part time. We are 55 and fit fun, not perfectly sculpted but we can still do many outdoor things like mountain bike, ski, board and we love Davis, only 2 hours away from home. We are super organized and clean, even with 2 fun dogs who do not even need leashes (border collie and cattle dog). They love to hike, follow mountain bikes, chase us on sleds, go kayaking, go tubing and also just chill. We love to redecorate spaces and do handy work (no plumbing or electric). We love landscaping and making walking trails, too. We updated our own small mountain home ourselves and did an elaborate walking trail system on sloped 5 acres in the woods. Painting, wall decorations, shopping or Facebook marketplace or thriftstoring for new or updated appliances, furniture and kitchenware/bathroom changes we enjoy. We have a small trailer to get things and dump them. We could be present to supervise plumbers or electricians. We have excellent credit and references. If any owners want us to do that for them in exchange for free stays, we'd be happy to do that. Thanks! Holly and John Morash Perfection!!

This was a great location, you could walk to the lodge, but the condo needs updates and to be thoroughly cleaned. We went to the dollar store to buy pillowcases because there was dried blood (or something) on one and the pillows inside were disgusting and need replaced. The stove and mattress pads need replacing as well. There are cobwebs all around the ceilings and the fan doesn't appear to have ever been cleaned. The bathroom had hair on the sink and in the shower. It also needs to be updated. Our first morning there was freezing because the couches had been pushed against the baseboard heaters. For the price, I expected better. If you plan to stay here I would bring my own sheets, some bleach spray and Clorox wipes, and plan to eat out.

The coffee filter had not been cleaned and had moldy coffee grounds in it.

We had a great stay. Great place to stay for a long weekend hiking trip. Dog friendly was a big plus. 10/10 would recommend.

The condo was a great location for easily getting to Canaan Valley Resort State Park, as well as Davis and Thomas. It also had easy access to the ski slopes for hiking up and into Dolly Sods. I called and talked to someone with a question about whether the bedroom was on the main level of the condo. They were helpful.
